James 1
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Growing our inner man as we connect with God's Word
Romans 5:17Those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
God's grace is our provision God has provided everything we need in his promises but it's up to us to receive it. We must receive – the abundant provision of grace and we must receive the gift of righteousness.
The word “receive” means to accept an offer deliberately and readily. Metaphorically it means to accept the grace of God eagerly. Jesus is the Grace of God unto we who believe and receive His Gift of Salvation.
Jesus is our Favor with God, Jesus is our Grace with God and God’s Grace and Favor towards us teaches us to be thankful. We learn to be thankful when we begin to realize it is by His Grace that He provides and gives us provision, seeing it to it that everything that needs to happen will happen in order to accomplish His purpose in our lives.

Titus 2
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
You may be asking, why is grace so important, why is the doctrine of grace a topic of so much dispute, debate and division? Why do so many Christian leaders and believers seem to have a problem with grace teaching and that’s a very good question because upon close examination of scripture, we see grace is a person and that person is Jesus!

Matthew 25:1-131 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Ephesians 1
17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,
As we come to know God we begin to have a spiritual revelation in of who He is sand through knowing Him, the eyes of our heart our spiritual vision will enable us to see why He called us, and what He's called us to... The riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. To put it briefly, the more we know God, the more we know ourselves

Colossians 2:7
Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him.
Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Any student of the bible, any saint that is vaguely familiar with the word of god cannot come away from a cursory reading of god’s word without acknowledging one inescapable truth which is, God desires that we grow. He wants us to Grow in love, in faith, in grace, knowledge and humility. Join us today as Pastor Art teaches on "Healthy Things Grow"

Gospel means Good News and Good News is founded on the laws of The Spirit. The Laws of the Spirit are spiritual truths, spiritual laws that are founded on the truth of God’s Word,
Unlike the the laws of gravity, the laws of cause and effect and the laws of thermo dynamics, the Laws of The Spirit are God’s Word and like the Lord Jesus himself, are unchanging, the same, yesterday today and forever.

Author Tim LeFleur said it this way, " If we are to mature, we must be involved in God’s training. In other words, spiritual growth will never happen “on accident.” Growing in the things of God has to happen on purpose, in other words, intentionality is essential for spiritual growth.
As we get into this message, let me say that I believe that it is God’s will for every believer to grow and mature.
The apostle Paul says in Romans 8:29,
For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, so that he would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
This verse is basically telling us that God wants us to grow into being like Jesus!
The good news is God never asks us to do anything unless he's also ready to help us accomplish and enabled us to do what He asks
