There is no doubt that the pandemic encouraged us, and for some, forced us to change our jobs, relationships, and even hobbies. For many, however, overwhelmed with the trauma of it all, they froze, and chose to stay in these jobs, relationships, and hobbies that are no longer serving them. They became complacent, stuck, going through the motions in all areas of their life without any enthusiasm, drive, or desire to achieve nor overachieve. This complacency has caused a trickle down effect on others around them, including fellow coworkers who have to pick up the slack, teammates doing more to compensate, romantic partners who are left feeling unloved, under appreciated and worse alone, and kids looking for that parent who once was vibrant, inspirational, and fun.
