  • Activate Your Wealth Consciousness With Shamina Taylor EP19

Most of us believe that "hard" equates to success and "hard" equates to wealth. We've been told that money doesn't grow on trees for most of our childhood. With limiting conditionings implanted in us, attorney and Wealth Expert Shamina Taylor teaches that a mindset shift must first be made to achieve our desires and dreams. A belief system that wealth is limitless and success knows no bounds.

Tune in to this new episode of the Conscious Marketer podcast — Activate Your Wealth Consciousness with Shamina Taylor.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:08:54] MORE is always coming. And if you can believe that more is always coming, then you've expanded what's right in front of you.

[00:16:58] Conviction means believing in what you're doing, like believing that you can actually help somebody else in your work.

[00:20:07] Not every person that comes to you is an ideal client. But when the right ones arrive, you're going to make magic with them.

[00:21:18] Shamina Taylor shares, "As I was changing, my avatar was changing." The truth is you can't help and save everybody. If you grow and evolve, you have to lead yourself in that dynamic.

[00:29:11] Don't believe everything you're thinking. When the fear comes up, take action and sooner or later, you will figure things out. If you listen to the negative voice in your head, you will surely feel you couldn't and you wouldn't.

[00:29:28] Nobody is judging you out there except yourself. The more you listen to and believe — you create a muscle of trust within yourself. When blocks and emotions show up, learn to get out of your own way.

[00:32:21] People don't realize the amount of grit, hard work, persistence, and stick-with-it-ness required every day. You can counter fears and perceived limitations in your mind by deciding to take massive action. Only you can steer your thoughts and make quantum leaps.

  • Relationship Building and Affiliate Marketing With Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik EP18

It's 2022 — are you geared towards maximizing the affiliate program in your business? You should since this strategy can expand your authority, grow your impact and boost your income.

Tune in to this new episode of the Conscious Marketer podcast — Relationship Building and Affiliate Marketing with Richard Taubinger and Kylie Slavik.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:05:14] One of the key principles behind affiliate marketing is growing your business with the help of somebody who already has your ideal customers on their list. What's interesting, too, is sometimes your best affiliates can be your competitors. That may not necessarily pose an issue as people in similar industries connect, even if they have the same products because they can complement each other.

[00:09:24] Build relationships because you don't want this to be a one-time thing. You promote them; they promote you. Everybody makes money. Have affiliates that make money with you and make them fans who refer to your program because they love how you help create transformation for their customers.

[00:13:49] People in our industry want to make fast money, but they don't always want to take care of the stuff that needs to be taken care of. Kylie Slavik recommends using the most recent version of the W9 forms from the IRS website, get them in a PDF format so you can send a blank one to your affiliate.

[00:14:46] It can be really powerful even if you only have two or three people who help you promote. You don't have to have 100. If you're launching something smaller, you could even have one person who can bring you a big list size.

[00:15:44] Over the past 15 years, the affiliates and affiliate launch strategies have been one of the primary ways people have grown their business.

[00:18:31] The most powerful thing about affiliate marketing strategy is that you are being endorsed by somebody that those people trust instead of fighting through the noise of Facebook, Google or YouTube ads.

[00:20:19] The power of relationships and providing value is at the center of the affiliate marketing strategy.

[00:23:31] Affiliate (marketing) piece is a really wise strategic decision to build into your business.

[00:24:57] When people are passionate about your brand, they will take action.

[00:27:34] There are many ways to partner and implement an affiliate program in your business. The best strategy is to prioritize building relationships. Identify five ways that you could partner with people, how do you add value, and what can be the reciprocal value?

  • How to Use Your Intuition as a Wealth Generator With Kisma Donna Orbovich EP17

Do you feel good about your desires? You should! And when your intuition speaks to you, take immediate action. It's the way to say to God or the universe: "I heard you, and I'm ready to receive!"

Tune in to this new episode of the Conscious Marketer podcast — How to Use Your Intuition as a Wealth Generator with Kisma Donna Orbovich.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:00:59] Music and intuition. Discover Kisma's journey from a successful career playing the flute in an orchestra, to paying attention to an inner voice telling her to move back to the States and open a yoga studio. "This guiding voice -- I really do believe we all have access to it. I know we do. Sometimes we just shy away from it."

[00:08:42] There's an array of universal natural scientific laws that we work with. When we can access these unseen forces or hook up to a greater channel of a universal mind, we get answers when we are ready to receive.

[00:10:39] How to decrease the noise and connect with your intuition. Decongest your heads from the unnecessary buzz. Kisma shares, "I'm always a believer of morning time. I heard Neil Patel say this once and ask why you would hand your agenda over to the rest of the world?" The quality of your mornings dictates the tone of your day and how you attract prosperity.

[00:15:08] Use your imaginations, which like intuition, is a higher faculty. Activate unlimited thought in your creative mind, just like the universe is constantly expanding -- so is the principle of life force expansion. We can grow into things that we never thought possible.

[00:20:03] There are three core wounds that people operate from:

    • Fear of not being loved
    • Fear of not being safe
    • Fear of not being significant

When we can identify where people are and why they get paralyzed, where it comes from, we must release that.

[00:29:10] Building a business is like a fast track to self-realization.

Many successful entrepreneurs are the most spiritual people. They use their intuition and trust unseen forces to navigate life and business with faith.

[00:33:14] Wealth has a lot of different meanings, but it would be an abundance of having the ability to serve other people. Achieving a life of abundance and overflow equips us with an incredible ability to help others and operate in authentic purpose and calling.

Kisma Donna Orbovich is the creator of The Prosperity Code Coaching Method™, a spiritual self-coaching system for entrepreneurs and career professionals who want to create unimaginable prosperity and reach Self- Mastery. • Shamans, Doctors & Beyond Imposter Syndrome With Richard Taubinger & Kylie Slavik EP16

Many empathy-driven, gifted, and sensitive people are reluctant to start businesses or show up in their work until they feel like they're an expert. They want to give the best value that they can provide only until they feel deserving enough.

In this episode, Richard Taubinger & Kylie Slavik discuss overcoming imposter syndrome and refraining from seeking perfection to achieve your life's purpose.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:02:56] You don't have to be the highest level expert in the whole world. You get to be an expert by practicing, and that's why it's called a "practice".

[00:05:01] We can't use learning & passion for growth as an excuse for not wanting to start. Take the time to think or write down everything that you are good at. What does that look like?

[00:08:04] One thing that is really hard to see is what you're naturally good at. It probably comes so easy to you that you don't even think it's even worth teaching.

[00:09:36] Imposter syndrome is comparing yourself to somebody who's 20 levels above you but ignoring the people 20 levels lower than you that you could already be serving.

[00:12:06] A big part of learning is by doing and serving. Your game will naturally keep evolving, and your clients will keep growing.

[00:12:28] When you allow self-doubt to stop you in your tracks, that becomes a tragedy. The world awaits your gifts, and the people you are meant to serve are coming... if you step out and own your greatness.

  • Telling Stories To Change The World With Andrea Sampson EP15

Andrea Sampson found her true calling in helping people get their stories out into the world. As the CEO of Talk Boutique and one of the industry's best coaches for TEDx speakers, she lives for the vital mission of helping experts and change-makers become thought leaders.

Tune in to this new episode of the Conscious Marketer podcast — Telling Stories To Change The World with Andrea Sampson.

Key points covered in this episode:

[1:38] Listen to Andrea's origin story. Having spent most of her career in advertising over 20 years working for some of the largest brands in the world, she had a nagging feeling of being an idealist in a capitalist world. "It wasn't doing me any favors for my own heart of working in that capitalist world. And I started looking around what I could do that would serve my heart as well as my pocket? I stumbled upon a really unique volunteer opportunity when I was asked to be a speaker's coach at TEDxToronto. I was given the opportunity to coach some of the smartest people I had ever met in my life."

[6:01] The birth of Talk Boutique. Many experts and leaders are so busy doing the work they forget to tell anyone about it. That is when Andrea found a problem to solve and later launched her business. "When they don't tell us their story, we get robbed of the opportunity to understand the good work that's happening in the world. So we decided that we would open Talk Boutique as both a speakers bureau helping aspiring speakers get the book, do the video, get that talk down, and present it to the world. And we would do that by coaching them and connecting them with the people who could help them make an impact."

[8:45] From the page to the stage. You get the opportunity to hook people in with the words you write or speak. "Have the courage to start with your story. Whether you try to sell people in an email, a social post or stand on stage to deliver a talk - you have three seconds to captivate your audience. No one wants to engage in a sales pitch. But they do want to engage in a story."

[22:59] Are you a thought leader? Andrea Sampson reminds us that it takes three things to become a thought leader.

First, become an expert communicator. If you think of a good leader, you'll see underneath it that they communicate with empathy and inspire others to take action. Metaphor, analogy, and other language tools are powerful when employed and touching emotions to persuade or inform.

Second, have a personal brand that people connect or align with. The persona you create for yourself is what people see and connect with emotionally. Be in integrity with who you are and what you value.

Third, build a community. People come and want to follow you because they believe in what you're saying. Give them a place to meet online and offline. Understand who your community is and allow them to interact with each other as well as with you.

[34:42] Don't be afraid to use your voice; it is the most powerful tool you have. If you need to be reminded today: know that you are powerful. You have an idea, and the world needs you. A person or a whole community may just be waiting for what you have to offer. Stop doubting yourself, articulate your message and tell others.

Andrea Sampson is an Executive Speaker's Coach, Communication Expert and Business Strategist. She uses her well-defined listening skills combined with insight identification and human behavior to craft stories from facts and helps build and deliver clear, compelling, and deeply engaging talks.

Andrea founded Talk Boutique in 2016 to help those with important stories to tell by helping them to create TEDx Talks that inspire millions!

  • Cofounder of Zero Waste Company Reveals His Conscious Marketing Strategies With Ryan Mckenzie EP13 EP13

What’s it like to change the world? Today’s guest is Ryan Mckenzie and he’s going to share how his company Tru Earth is making an impact with eco-friendly laundry detergent products. Their tag line, Better for the People, Better for the Planet is the beginning of the story.

Ryan has a deep knowledge of digital marketing. He’s worked in SEO, content marketing, digital magazines, and subscription boxes. He credits his experience (the successes and the failures) for preparing him for where he is today.

You’ll be inspired by the Tru Earth brand story. Ryan, a father of two with a third child on the way was motivated by a video to start researching the use and recycling of plastic laundry containers.

The statistics were sobering. There are a billion laundry jugs used in North America each year. Less than 30% are recycled. 700 million go into landfills every year.

His business partner Brad had already talked to him about laundry strips that would eliminate the need for the plastic jugs completely. Could this be the solution to a very big problem?

Ryan and team decided to do a minimum viable launch to see if the product would sell. He shares 3 of the strategies they used, and the results of each:

    • Facebook ads
    • Subscription box placement
    • Google Ads

Ryan also credits the timing of their launch for part of the success. Launching in April near earth day was beneficial since environmental issues were being talked about in the news.

Hear how their first video Things you Should Never Mix with Water was created. Ryan explains that it went against all the “rules” but performed well, with over 50 million views and counting. It’s a great formula to follow. Humor helps Tue Earth encourage people to make little changes that add up.

Ryan’s advice for others who want to make big changes; pick one thing that’s easy to stick with and built on that. A sequence of small changes creates big impact

He also shares great business advice for those of us who are focused on making an impact. When your vision is about making a positive change in the world, it’s much easier to stay motivated and inspired.

  • Your Market Is Not Oversaturated With Richard Taubinger & Kylie Slavik EP14

One big thing that holds conscious entrepreneurs back is their belief in market saturation. They are often afraid to start, believing that there are just too many players around or that there are no more buyers in the market. This prevents them from conceiving whatever genius they have inside them and birth the product or service that many people need.

Key points covered in this episode:

[00:01:47] There's no saturation ever because what people are buying is YOU — they're not necessarily buying a product or service.

Especially for those in the transformation space, your clients who desire to achieve the change seek that transformation by what they see in you.

[00:03:22] Conscious Marketer CEO Richard cites his experience when he first started teaching digital marketing. "The unique approach we have developed within our agency and with our clients is quite different from what other people do. Some people want to learn from me, and others don't, and that's OK."

[00:02:40] When you go against the grain of what you're really here to do, things get miserable, stressed & get out of alignment.   Kylie Slavik shares how business can be difficult, and so many quit, yet those who are meant to do the work will always create their niche.

[00:03:47] Consider that new people always want to learn something new and enter the market. They will come looking for you and the unique thing that only you can provide. Make sure you have to be somewhere where they can find you.

[00:06:12] Ryan Mckenzie - Co-Founder of Tru Earth, is an example of breaking through in the market with eco-friendly household products. He came along with this new way of doing it and convinced people to switch to zero waste and grow exponentially.

[00:07:58] Imagine if Richard Branson didn't start his airplane business because he thought it was saturated? It would have been a big miss for those who love the experience with his brands, which are fun and reliable in many ways.

[00:09:33] Take courage to go forward, create your brand and give the world your gifts.  If you've found something that's so unique and nobody is doing it often, that's a sign that it may not even work. That may not always be the case, but you actually want to find markets that have a lot of entrants in there because what that means is that people are already buying and consuming, and you can look at what those other people are doing. And you know that there's a developed market.

[00:11:05] Ask yourself these questions:  How do I differentiate myself? How would I make it unique? What creativity could I bring in? What new customer base aren't they serving, or is coming into that market that I could align with and serve better than other people? Or how can I do it locally?

  • How to Capture Compelling Testimonials With Richard Taubinger & Kylie Slavik EP12

Do you deliver incredible results and wish you could share client successes without feeling like you’re bragging? This episode is for you. Richard and Kylie discuss the power of client testimonials.

Kylie breaks down the process that she uses for herself and Conscious Marketer clients. Get ready to take notes and start capturing the great stories your clients want to share about you, your work, and more importantly, their success.

    Testimonials as Social Proof

The real power of the testimonial is the social proof. It’s evidence that your product or service worked for someone who hired you or purchased from you.

It’s one of the fastest ways to develop trust with potential clients. When others share their results, it’s easier for a new client to trust that you will be able to deliver for them as well.

    Kylie’s testimonial framework:

    ● Begin with the before picture. Kylie explains why this is so powerful.

    ● Show the messy middle. Credibility comes from hearing the struggles as well as the achieved result.

    ● Share the transformation. Show how this builds trust and the one thing that matters most.

Richard outlines how an honest review helps people see the possibilities before and even after a purchase. The testimonial can acknowledge pain points as a sincere part of sharing how working with you (or buying your product) benefitted them.

    How to ask for testimonials.

    ● Get detailed information about what was going on before the purchase/hire.

    ● How was this problem or challenge impacting you? Kylie shares the 4 key areas that people can connect to.

    ● Why did you buy? Why did you believe you were going to get results?

    ● What challenges did you experience while working with us?

    ● What happened after receiving the support?

Kylie walks through this process step by step. Hear how you can accommodate different learning styles for the people who will be checking out your testimonials.

Bonus: Richard shares his strategy to start with the offer first. This will help you frame the results in a way that helps clients see the potential. It’s a powerful way to hold space for those results as they work with you.

The best time to ask for a testimonial is while your client is experiencing the transformation. Give them the chance to provide you with their feedback. Make this part of your client process.

Using testimonials is a core part of the Conscious Marketer sales strategy. It’s one of the best ways to help people understand the power of the transformation while establishing trust and credibility.

  • The Godfather of Facebook Groups With Dr. Harlan Kilstein EP11

Today Richard and Kylie talk to Dr. Harlan Kilstein. He is an author, entrepreneur, and lifestyle coach who is referred to as the Godfather of Facebook groups.

How can groups help with your marketing efforts?

Harlan says that Facebook refers to groups as communities. These communities are a great place to gather like minded people together who share ideas, goals and values.

Facebook wants you to build communities. That’s one of the reasons they promote your groups at no cost. Harlan has a keto group with 1.3 million members, and he didn’t spend any money to attract or grow that group. In this episode he shares how you can grow your group organically too.

Here are the steps to grow and serve your community using Facebook groups.

    • Search for your topic or genre. See what shows up and Search for your topic or genre. What questions are being asked? What types of conversations are people having related to your topic?
    • Check out the activity in the groups related to your topic. Harlan shares a great case study about finding the right topic and it’s incredibly helpful. Then he gives his secrets for creating the most value for your group participants.

    • When people know, like and trust you, it breaks down the barriers. That’s why selling to your group is not just okay, it’s a way to serve them.

    • Ask your group, what can I do that will be helpful? Listen! They will tell you what they need from you.

    • Every time you go into your group and post, you are building connections and trust. Once that is developed, it’s okay to sell. Serve first, profit later.

    • Find out how to front load your group to show people you have knowledge and mastery of the topic/subject. In the beginning, post several times a day.

    • The most important factor in a group is engagement. Harlan shares an easy way to get people engaged and it’s something anyone can do, no matter your topic or expertise. As you master engagement, Facebook will begin sending people to your group.

    • Will your product or service benefit the people in the group? Make offers you know will help, and lower the risk when possible with a free trial or a low buy in. Harlan shares his personal approach that you can make your own.

    • Don’t give up. Harlan makes an incredible offer so listen and find out how you get his eyes on your group.

    • Set up alerts for words and topics that you don’t want discussed in your group. Be the leader and exercise control of your group so it’s all about service and solutions.

For healers, helpers, coaches and others who want to serve, growing and leading a Facebook group is one of the best ways to build a community of people who want to engage with you.

  • Serving Not Selling With Richard Taubinger & Kylie Slavik EP10

Conscious Marketer clients are heart and soul focused and consider their work a sacred mission. A common thread is the reluctance to sell for fear of coming across pushy or uncaring. Its understandable.

Selling doesn’t resonate. Serving is where they feel most comfortable. Today Richard and Kylie talk about how serving, not selling, can be the way you market your course, or book and other services.

Kylie shares how she went from reluctant to being comfortable selling her services. When she was starting the concept of getting paid to do her work didn’t feel right. She loved helping her clients achieve great results and was okay with a small fee in exchange.

Hear how that changed for her as she began to help clients become even more successful. It was a shift in self-worth that helped her recognize how much value she was creating. From there she realized she deserved to be compensated appropriately.

Richard shares why he considers marketing and selling a sacred obligation. This is a shift that starts with your mind-set. Hear how you can serve before selling so that your audience is attracted to what you are offering.

Sales conversations: what they are and what they are not.

Hear how Kylie and mom had a car salesman sell to them by being of service first. It’s a great way to frame how a conversation is all about making sure what’s being bought and sold is a good fit for both parties in the transaction.

A sales conversation is an opportunity to understand someone and what they need. That’s where it starts. Every time. It should be as empowering for you as it is for them.

Why everyone is not a potential client.

You want to bring in people that are highly aligned with what you can deliver. It’s tempting to want to sell to everyone but it’s not effective. When you can speak so clearly to the results your target audience needs, they’ll come to you, asking how they can hire you or buy your product/services.

What’s the right ratio of providing value content and making an offer?

Richard explains that there are people on both sides. Some offer value continuously but never makes an offer. Others, only offer and promote without sharing value.

If you have something that’s available for sale all the time, Kylie suggests an 80/20 or even 90/10 ratio. Hear how that can look based on how often you share value and content.

It’s important to make sure your content is geared to the offer that’s coming. Kylie shares 5 examples that will make this so much easier!

    What about launches?

Richard explains the product launch sequence they use. Think about how you can really serve those who have joined your list looking for the valuable content you are sharing. It’s the best way to have people asking how they can work with you, no pressure sales required!
