So long 2021 and welcome to 2022 (not to be confused with 2020 too)!!! 

I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year than to bang a drum, and there is nobody better qualified than my first guest of the year...Danny Bourgeois! 

He has a list of drumming credits that runs a mile long, he is the owner/operator/engineer extraordinaire of "Pumk'n Patch Recording Studio" in Memramcook NB. He's toured just about everywhere and is the house drummer for "Tout Simplement Country" on ici/ArtTV. Oh, and he was the recipient of the Musicians Achievement Award at the 2017 ECMAs...no big deal. 

We have such a great time talking about the journey he's been on since the age of 5, how music has shaped his life's work and gave him the passion to leave his job and pursue his career while staying in NB. He shares how the pandemic changed his outlook on work/life balance, and what continues to motivate him. He has such a positive attitude it's infectious....I hope you all enjoy this episode - Danny is as real as it gets!
