This week, we are happy to conclude to latest mini-series on Mental Health Matters & relapsing! Our hope for this series is to shed light & raise awareness on the issues faced by people in our community revolving around mental health & relapsing. We also hope that this series can act as a means of support and a push for anyone struggling with these issues to seek for help.

In this episode titled, “Mental Health in Our Daily Lives” we are joined by our team members, Brother Kaven, Sister Sakinah & Sister Tara. We recapped on what we learnt for the past 2 weeks during this mini series. Additionally, we also share our thoughts on what we learnt and our main takeaways from the series episodes and IG lives!

In this episode entitled, “Mental Health Matters” we are joined by our team members, Sister Sakinah & Sister Tara. We will also be joined by one of our convert brothers, Brother Farhan and an Ustaz, Ustaz Zulkifli! Brother Farhan shared his journey of relapsing as a convert and Ustaz Zulkifli answered questions pertaining relapsing and shared his valuable advices with us.

We will also be joined by one of our convert sisters, Sister Marilyn who is a school counsellor and has been in the field for over 7 years and Brother Sufian who is a family centre counsellor and has been in the field for over 10 years! They will be sharing their perspectives on mental health struggles and giving us advice on these issues.

This week's Convert Sharing brings us all the way to Australia with Sister Evelyn! She shares her story of how she was brought to Islam through her sister, her local mosque and we discuss how her conversion has impacted her family life as well as transitioning her family to the changes!
