With the premiere of Converts Central’s Season 2 tonight, let us meet our team members!We have two 2nd generation Converts who are both in our Outreach division: Sister Hafsah Ellina and Sister Sakinah. Sister Jamilah, who is a Chinese Convert, manages our finances. In Marketing, we have brother Shahrul and Sister Aisha. In our Audio division, we have Sister Shajiah and last but not least, our Director, Kaven Siddique Lim ☺️ (who is also a convert).

As we walk patiently through the toughest of times, Allah swt sends the greatest of ease.

In another episode of Ramadan Reflections, join sis Zoey and sis Marilyn as they share with us how they celebrated their Hari Raya in the midst of COVID-19. Listen on as these sisters share about the hiccups and challenges they faced in Ramadan and how they overcame them. They also shared about having to adjust their body clock (something most of us also struggle with in Ramadan!), how their goals had to change from the beginning to by the end of Ramadan and what should we do when our goals fail.

In this chill session with Bro Ali, Bro Ibrahim & Sis Asha, they talk about some of the most interesting questions & unexpected situations that they have gotten throughout their convert journeys. Gain some insightful perspectives while listening to their sharings!

In the third episode of our Syawal Series, Bro Ibrahim, Bro Ali and Sis Asha starts by looking back on how Ramadan was and how COVID 🦠 with the lack of physical connectedness initially affected their ibadah, attitude & beliefs this Ramadan. We also learnt about how changing our perspectives can bring about a positive change in our relationship with Allah swt. ☺️

For our second Syawal episode as part of our Syawal series, we are gathered once again with Bro Amresh & Bro Farhan. Our brothers look back at how their Ramadan this year had been & reminisce on some key takeaways from their experiences. This includes their FIRST Tadarrus experience, FIRST terawih experience individually, & FIRST time being far away from their brothers & sisters in faith.

They also look back joyfully to their time spent with their family & their perseverance to increase in their conduct at their workplace.

We constantly remind ourselves on how this world is a test for us. In Ramadan, our brothers placed in their utmost effort to strive towards Allah swt, tasted the sweetness of solitude as well as understood the blessings of family, and more! Lastly, our brothers end their session with some quick & beneficial advice for new Muslims whom have just ended Ramadan.

For our first Syawal episode, we were joined by Brother Jabbar to talk about his 27 year journey into Islam. His story revolves around 2 main phases, transiting into a Muslim and living as a Muslim.

Brother Jabbar shares with us his journey of seeking truth and knowledge regarding monotheism and how it drew him into Islam and thereafter how he furthered his pursuit into Islam 20 years after taking his shahadah, showing us that it's never too late to rush back to the arms of Allah's Mercy.

Our final guest for our Ramadan series is none other than Sister Zoey @ Zia! Sister Zia shares with us her journey into Islam through the assistance of a significant other and how the she eventually decided to proceed on with her conversion regardless of the outcome of her relationship. She tells us about the beauty of Islam that appealed to her and how the beautiful actions of fellow Muslims pushed her to take a leap of faith into Islam.

Sister Zia also shares about her 6-year Ramadan experience! We talk about her first experience praying 20 cycles of prayers at the mosque and the advices that a new Muslim must absolutely know when they approach their first ramadan.
