In our first episode of the series, we’re joined by Jackie Sinkledam, Registered Physiotherapist and Senior Founding Partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy. In this episode, we’re talking about some of the challenges of being a specialist entrepreneur and finding the balance between the two roles. We’ll also chat about the current state of the physiotherapy landscape and look at some trends for the future.
Jackie is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. She is the senior and founding partner of Eramosa Physiotherapy Associates, now celebrating 25 years of providing excellence in physiotherapy. She has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual Therapy and Advanced Manual Therapy Exam (FCAMPT). In addition, Jackie has furthered her education by completing her Certificate of Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI), Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and is known as a local Pelvic Health Care Leader. She has previously been a clinical instructor for McMaster University and continues to be involved with ongoing research projects through both McMaster and the University of Guelph. Her passion continues to be researching and developing physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of EPA’s clients. EPA’s physiotherapy programs are based on principles in Manual Therapy, Specialized Exercise, Soft Tissue Release, Acupuncture, and other modalities.
