The United Nations Secretary General Guterres rolled out his “Summit of the Future” prior to the start of the General Assembly meeting to great fanfare.  However, the rollout of his pet project it is another demonstration that the U.N. is failing at its basic purpose of why it was created in the closing period of World War II.
