For the final episode in the series, I'm joined by Sammy Urwin from Employed to Serve and Renounced the discuss Of Malice and The Magnum Heart by Misery Signals. We talk about Sammy's recent experience playing with the band, the album itself and delve into Sammy's life as a label owner! There will be more episodes coming in the future at some point, I promise!

Start warming up because today we're going deep into some mosh metal! I'm joined by Patrick Morton, the vocalist of Long Goodbye, formerly of Bloodfury and currently guitarist in Imissyoualready and Coexist, and we're taking about Some Of Us May Never See The World by On Broken Wings! We also talk about Patrick's love of moshing, Conviction records and some bands to check out from Newcastle!

My guest for a dive into one of the most influential XVX recoreds of the last decade is Sofia Blanck, the vocalist of Divine Sentence. We talk about the album, Sofia's journey into veganism and discuss some of the best UK metalcore bands around.

We're going back to the early noughties now, as myself and James Lee from Mastiff discuss Zao's Liberate Te Ex Inferis! We look at the album, discuss the bands tumultuous lineup and recommend a very good documentary about the band!

It's post-hardcore time now, as we're joined by Ashley Carrera, the amazingly talented guitarist of FOXCULT (All caps btw) as we talk about the self titled record from Saosin (Also known as The Bug Album) and we take a lore dive into Ash's band. We also talk about When We Were Young, Pumpkin picking and some forgotten british bands!

Episode 10 sees me take a journey into the mouth of hell with Heriot guitarist Erhan Alman! We talk about Errorzone, the seminal modern classic from Vein.Fm alongside seeing them live and I make a stunning confession about Vein's second album!

It's a very special episode of The Core You Know, as just a few days before Ithaca's final show, Liam Knowles of Hidden Mothers joins me to talk about their modern classic that is They Fear Us. Recorded before we knew about the split, this is an episode that doesn't just look at the record, but Liam's incredibly personal relationship with the record.

It's episode 8 and much like Jane Doe, tthis album is no easy listen. Joining me for a discussion about Calculating Infinity by The Dillinger Escape Plan is the vocalist of Lure In and one of the many amazing people behind the camera in Daitan films, Cameron Wilson! We discuss the album, how we got into the band and also Gnaw Their Tongues get a mention...for some reason.

It's a double album special for episoide 7, as we're joined by Frazer Cassling, vocalist of Birmingham metalcore giants Cauldron to discuss albums from Renounced and Fightstar! We also talk a bit about the band opening for Misery Signals at their last ever UK show! Part of the Noizze Podcast Network.

They don't come much bigger than this. Joining me to discuss the monolithic Jane Doe by Converge is Harry Nott, the vocalist of Burner! We do our best to do the record justice and end up in a discussion of is it a great record, a great piece of art, or a combination of the two?
