The end to which Peter is referring asks important questions. What’s the goal? What’s the point? The end is near. God is drawing this work of salvation through Jesus Christ ever closer to its final maturity. What do we do with that awareness?

Dag Hammarskjöld's prayer gives us a wonderful summary: “For all that has been, THANKS, for all that is to be, YES!”

What is the love that came down at Christmas? Or, more properly, who is the love come down?

Though we experience our relationship with God in personal ways, it is the gift of being a community on mission that sets the church apart from our individualistic world.

The presence of the Holy Spirit is the kept promise by God that God and humankind share one life-giving breath.
