As we continue our series in 1 Timothy  we learn more about the church at Ephesus and how they struggled with several areas: 1. False Teachers and Teaching, Confusion and Divisiveness that comes from false teaching, and the absence of God's work because of it all. Here at Cornerstone  we our encouraging our young leaders to know the Word, walk in the Spirit, Guard the church and it's body and teach the Word accurately.

This is the beginning of the Entrust Sermon Series. A deeper look into the book of 1 and 2 Timothy. One of the key versus in 2nd Timothy is in chapter 2 verse 2: And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. This verse is key to this series and underlines the importance in ministry of a successful handoff.

What does it mean to be persecuted?  Who are the persecuted? What does Jesus have in mind when he says, "Blessed are the persecuted."
