Chapter 4 of Daniel opens with the preface of an edict from Nebuchadnezzar, that bookendswith chapter 4’s postscript. Some have argued that Daniel 4:1-3 actually belongs as thepostscript of chapter 3, but as constructed here most scholars argue that this construction is theintended, proper reading.
