For those of you who don't know...
I had brain surgery exactly 5 weeks ago from the time this episode was released. It was, by far, the worst thing I've ever experienced. In this episode I dive into the story behind that surgery and how this surgery has affected my life, ultimately forcing me to choose a plan B for my life (which was not figured out).
I was faced with some major adversity because of this surgery, but I needed to get it done... Should I sit here and pout?
Adversity is a major part of our lives as human beings. In order to make it through life, we need to figure out how the fuck to overcome all these challenges that are thrown at us. Without learning how to deal with shit, we get depressed, anxious, and shut down. If we've never faced any real adversity in our lives, we'll never evolve and grow.
Adversity is a good thing... as long as you let it be. We must embrace adversity with open arms.
"No man is more unhappy than he who never faces adversity. For he is not permitted to prove himself." - Seneca
