  • Interview - Steve McIntosh
This week on Cosmic Citizen Paula and Christilyn will be interviewing Steve McIntosh (link to bio). Steve is a leader in the integral philosophy movement and the author of the acclaimed book: Integral Consciousness and the Future of Evolution (Paragon House 2007).     Review: "McIntosh's book is an educational journey through the fundamentals of integral philosophy and a fascinating exploration of some of its most important themes. Carefully researched and tightly argued, this work is an important contribution to a field destined to impact world culture and the direction of human evolution."     The emerging integral perspective provides an enlarged understanding of the evolution of consciousness and culture, leading to realistic and pragmatic solutions to our growing global problems, both environmental and political. Integral philosophy affirms the values and goals of progressive spiritual culture, but also seeks to “transcend and include” the postmodern worldview of the “cultural creatives” through an evolutionary perspective that reveals new insights about the evolution of consciousness.     Steve McIntosh is commonly recognized and a major contributor to the Integral Movement. Please join us for this interesting and informative interview.     Please see Steve's bio on our bio page. There's always a link to the page on the Cosmic Citize Profile.

  • Dominican University Conference - Phil Taylor and Charles Olivea
Charles Olivea (link to bio) has been married for 43 years to wife, Mary. They live to Santa Fe, New Mexico, because of its appeal along spiritual, ethnic, historical and aesthetic lines. Charles has studied The Urantia Book since 1968 and has tried to integrate its teachings into his life. He knew from the beginning that it constituted living truth and eventually appreciated why this planetary revelation came in book form: essentially, to bring greater clarity and instruction (spiritual wisdom) to our minds. He has have dedicated his life--personally and professionally (he is a teacher)--to its dissemination. Phil Taylor (link to bio) has been a reader of The Urantia Book since 1991, when he found it in college. His passion is service; that's what he speaks about at conferences.
