(625.1) 55:3.2 Human government in the conduct of material affairs continues to function throughout this age of relative progress and perfection. The public activities of a world in the first stage of light and life which I recently visited were financed by the tithing technique. Every adult worker — and all able-bodied citizens worked at something — paid ten per cent of his income or increase to the public treasury, and it was disbursed as follows: (625.2) 55:3.3 1. Three per cent was expended in the promotion of truth — science, education, and philosophy. (625.3) 55:3.4 2. Three per cent was devoted to beauty — play, social leisure, and art. (625.4) 55:3.5 3. Three per cent was dedicated to goodness — social service, altruism, and religion. (625.5) 55:3.6 4. One per cent was assigned to the insurance reserves against the risk of incapacity for labor resultant from accident, disease, old age, or unpreventable disasters. (625.7) 55:3.8 On this world the highest honor conferred upon a citizen was the order of “supreme service,” being the only degree of recognition ever to be granted in the morontia temple. This recognition was bestowed upon those who had long distinguished themselves in some phase of supermaterial discovery or planetary social service. (625.8) 55:3.9 The majority of social and administrative posts were held jointly by men and women. Most of the teaching was also done jointly; likewise all judicial trusts were discharged by similar associated couples. (625.10) 55:3.11 When a settled world progresses beyond the third stage of light and life, all ascenders are destined, before attaining the minor sector, to receive some sort of transient assignment on a planet passing through the earlier stages of evolution. We'll devote our time to the last section, Section 10: The Ultimate Adventure With this study we have completed a thorough exploration of these amazing ascendent beings that all contribute to the Corps of the Finality: 1-The Havona Natives, 2-Gravity Messengers, 3-Glorified Mortals, 4-Adopted Seraphim, 5-Glorified Material Sons, 6-Glorified Midway Creatures, 7-The Evangels of Light, 8-The Transcendentalers, and 9-Architects of the Master Universe. Wow!  And if that's not glorious enough, we get to cap it off with THE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE!  This paper actually completes Part I of The Urantia Book, that being The Central and Super Universes.  Consider these intriguing paragraphs from Section 10 concerning our ascending adventure: 12) During the present universe age the evolving personalities of the grand universe suffer many difficulties due to the incomplete actualization of the sovereignty of God the Supreme, but we are all sharing the unique experience of his evolution. We evolve in him and he evolves in us. Sometime in the eternal future the evolution of Supreme Deity will become a completed fact of universe history, and the opportunity to participate in this wonderful experience will have passed from the stage of cosmic action. 13) But those of us who have acquired this unique experience during the youth of the universe will treasure it throughout all future eternity. And many of us speculate that it may be the mission of the gradually accumulating reserves of the ascendant and perfected mortals of the Corps of the Finality, in association with the other six similarly recruiting corps, to administer these outer universes in an effort to compensate their experiential deficiencies in not having participated in the time-space evolution of the Supreme Being. Having learned the sevenfold composition of the Corps of Mortal Finaliters, We now undertake to imagine and learn about our first direct encounters, as finaliters, with those superpersons—the transcendentalers and Architects of the Master Universe—who function on the seven levels of the absonite and the four levels of ultimate reality Part of the perfected mortal’s experience on Paradise as a finaliter consists in the effort to achieve comprehension of the nature and function of more than one thousand groups of the transcendental supercitizens of Paradise, eventuated beings of absonite attributes. ...The entire order of the Transcendentalers live in the west of Paradise in a vast area which they exclusively occupy. ...The vast host of the Paradise Transcendentalers have nothing whatever to do with the affairs of either Havona or the seven superuniverses, being concerned only with the superadministration of the affairs of the master universe. You, being a creature, can conceive of a Creator, but you can hardly comprehend that there exists an enormous and diversified aggregation of intelligent beings who are neither Creators nor creatures. These Transcendentalers create no beings, neither were they ever created. In speaking of their origin, in order to avoid using a new term — an arbitrary and meaningless designation — we deem it best to say that Transcendentalers simply eventuate.  (350.4–6) 31:8.1–3 The Architects of the Master Universe are the governing corps of the Paradise Transcendentalers. This governing corps numbers 28,011 personalities possessing master minds, superb spirits, and supernal absonites. We continue our exploration of the members of the Mortal Corps of the Finality.   Many of the faithful seraphic guardians of mortals are permitted to go through the ascendant career with their human wards, and many of these guardian angels, after becoming Father fused, join their subjects in taking the finaliter oath of eternity and forever accept the destiny of their mortal associates. Angels who pass through the ascending experience of mortal beings may share the destiny of human nature; they may equally and eternally be mustered into this Corps of the Finality. Large numbers of the adopted and glorified seraphim are attached to the various nonmortal finaliter corps. (348.6) 31:4.1 These Material Sons are not to be found in many finaliter companies. Their presence lends great potential to the possibilities of high service for such a group, and they are invariably chosen as its leaders. If both of the Edenic pair are attached to the same group, they are usually permitted to function jointly, as one personality. (349.3) 31:5.3   [T]he midway creatures are produced in large numbers, but they seldom tarry on their native world subsequent to its being settled in light and life. Then, or soon thereafter, they are released from permanent-citizenship status and start on the ascension to Paradise, passing through the morontia worlds, the superuniverse, and Havona in company with the mortals of time and space. The midway creatures from various universes differ greatly in origin and nature, but they are all destined to one or another of the Paradise finality corps. The secondary midwayers are all eventually Adjuster fused and are mustered into the mortal corps. Last time, our study of The Corps of Mortal Finality revealed that there are seven finaliter corps. Their destiny is assumed to be service in the vast outer realms of creation. During the present universe age, finaliters serve in the superuniverses, never returning to their native superuniverse until they have served in all the others. Mortal finaliters are always in service on Urantia. Finaliters are self‑governing, bearing allegiance only to the Paradise Trinity. They  are forever secure against sin. Finaliter corps are composed from six groups of beings. Last time,we coverecd the intro to this paper and Section 1, Havona Natives. They serve as teachers in the training schools of the central universe. This week we study Gravity Messengers, personalized Adjusters hailing from Divinington who are able to transcend time and space. They are superspirit beings; divine, intelligent and touchingly understanding. Gravity Messengers and glorified mortals have a profound affection for one another; one being a personalization of a fragment of the Father and the other an immortal soul fused with a Father fragment. We will cover them this time. In addition, we hope to look atGlorified Mortals. They make up the bulk of each finaliter company. It is conjectured that the lengthy universe training ascendant mortals receive is designed to qualify them for greater tests of future service. Glorified mortals have ascended through every step of possible intelligent existence, and have been trained in every possible detail of administration of the superuniverses.  In coming weeks we will study Adopted Seraphim, Glorified Material Sons and Daughters, and Glorified Midway Creatures.  The finaliter corps are destined to serve the future needs of the vast new universes now organizing in the domains of outer space. We concluded with the last section of Paper 40, The Ascending Sons of God, §10. Ascendant Destinies last week and were inspired by that discussion to look at the high and noble destiny of Adjuster-fused sons of God, as we are destined to be, in the Corps of The Finality.  So, the last paper in Part I of the Urantia Book it is! While the Corps of the Mortal Finality is mobilizing on Paradise, and while they now so extensively minister to the universes of space and administer the worlds settled in light and life, their future destination must be the now-organizing universes of outer space. At least that is the conjecture of Uversa. The corps is organized in accordance with the working associations of the worlds of space and in keeping with the associative experience acquired throughout the long and eventful ascendant career. (345.8,9) 31:0.8,9 During the present universe age the finaliters return to serve in the universes of time. They are assigned to labor successively in the different superuniverses and never in their native superuniverses until after they have served in all the other six supercreations. Thus may they acquire the sevenfold concept of the Supreme Being. (345.10) 31:0.10 ...the finaliters are now wholly a self-governing body. They choose their own permanent, periodic, and assignment leaders and directors. No outside influence can ever be brought to bear upon their policies, and their oath of allegiance is only to the Paradise Trinity. ...We do not directly manage them or control them, and yet they are absolutely loyal and always co-operative with all our plans. We resume and conclude with §10. Ascendant Destinies. Father-fused mortals are potential finaliters; their destination is the Universal Father, and him they do attain, but within the purview of the present universe age, finaliters, as such, are not destiny attainers. They remain unfinished creatures — sixth-stage spirits — and hence nonactive in the evolutionary domains of prelight-and-life status. 453.6) 40:10.11 Thus, in the final analysis, it would be hardly proper to use the words “greater” or “lesser” in contrasting the destinies of the ascending orders of sonship. Every such son of God shares the fatherhood of God, and God loves each of his creature sons alike; he is no more a respecter of ascendant destinies than is he of the creatures who may attain such destinies. The Father loves each of his sons, and that affection is not less than true, holy, divine, unlimited, eternal, and unique — a love bestowed upon this son and upon that son, individually, personally, and exclusively. And such a love utterly eclipses all other facts. Sonship is the supreme relationship of the creature to the Creator. (454.2) 40:10.13 As mortals you can now recognize your place in the family of divine sonship and begin to sense the obligation to avail yourselves of the advantages so freely provided in and by the Paradise plan for mortal survival, which plan has been so enhanced and illuminated by the life experience of a bestowal Son.
