Far more than a psychological construct, personality is a unique and divine endowment. It is bestowed by the Universal Father and is independent of the indwelling Thought Adjuster.

The Fragrance of Virtue: Morality, Personality, and the Cosmic Mind

In the teachings of The Urantia Book, we discover that virtue is not merely learned but rather is chosen, lived, and revealed through the sacred dance of intelligence, insight, and free will.

In this episode, we explore the divine architecture of human morality as revealed in The Urantia Book. What makes a human being truly moral? Beyond intelligence lies a sacred endowment, personality that is infused with moral intuition, scientific curiosity, and spiritual insight. Unlike animals who learn by trial and error, we are gifted with foresight, the ability to “look before we leap,” and to choose virtue with intention and clarity.

Mapping Divine Spirit Intelligence

In this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we went deep into the mind architecture of the universe as revealed in Sections 5 and 6 of Urantia Paper 16, The Seven Master Sprits.

In Section 5, Relation to Creatures, we read how the Seven Master Spirits play a profound role in shaping the identity and destiny of all intelligent beings throughout the grand universe. While every universe benefits from the collective wisdom of all seven of the Master Spirits, each is uniquely conditioned by the personal influence of just one Master Spirit. This influence permeates the entire superuniverse, imprinting a spiritual and psychological "signature" on every creature born within it.

While mortals on evolutionary worlds like Urantia are deeply affected through the ministry of the Creative Mother Spirit, her nature closely mirrors that of the presiding Master Spirit. Therefore, in essence, the Master Spirits ensure that every creature carries a cosmic heritage, an enduring spiritual fingerprint that reflects the diversity and unity of the divine plan.

In Section 6. The Cosmic Mind, we discoverd the divine scaffolding that supports all will creatures in their pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness. We explored the three innate cosmic intuitions, which are causation, duty, and worship, and discover how they shape our scientific reasoning, moral compass, and spiritual yearning.

A key feature of the cosmic mind is its ability to foster kinship among human and superhuman minds, leading to cooperation and shared understanding. This is due to an inherent sensitivity known as the "reality response” which helps us to navigate the assumptions of science, philosophy, and religion with discernment and clarity.

From the kinship of minds to the reality response, this episode reveals how the cosmic mind is not just a theological concept, it is the living interface between the finite and the infinite.

This week on The Cosmic Citizen we continued our study of Urantia Paper 16. The Seven Master Spirits, with Section 4. Attributes and Functions of the Master Spirits

This section unveils the profound role of the Seven Master Spirits as the Infinite Spirit’s full representation to the evolutionary universes. Originating from the Paradise Deities, the Master Spirits embody the physical power, cosmic mind, and spiritual presence of Triune Deity. They function as supreme coordinators of energy, mind, and spirit across the superuniverses.

We took a trip into the luminous heart of Paper 16, Section 4 of The Urantia Book, exploring the awe-inspiring attributes and functions of the Seven Master Spirits, to unravel their role as supreme coordinators of energy, mind, and spirit across the superuniverses.

We discovered their mysterious connection to morontia substance as well as their influence on life initiation, spiritual bestowals, and the reflectivity mechanisms that defy mortal comprehension and while much of their work remains unrevealed, their contribution to our Paradise ascent is profound.

Channels of Divine Presence—The Infinite Spirit and the Seven Master Spirits

This week on The Cosmic Citizen, we dove into the heart of cosmic administration and spiritual intimacy as revealed in Paper 16. The Seven Master Spirits. 

We read and discussed SectionsSections 2: Relation to the Infinite Spirit & 3: Identity and Diversity of the Master Spirits.

Listen in as we discover how the Infinite Spirit, the third person of Deity, is revealed not in isolation, but through the majestic diversity of the Seven Master Spirits. These luminous beings that preside over the superuniverses, each uniquely and exquisitely expressing the Infinite Spirit’s presence, personality, and power.

We explored the spiritual mechanics of divine communication across the universe of universes and marveled at how the Infinite Spirit’s presence is personalized through the Seven Master Spirits, noting the collective omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence of these seven divine channels.

We imagined what it means to commune with the Master Spirit of our superuniverse, and how that might shape our own spiritual journeys and we contemplated the layered beauty of divine distribution.

Urantia Paper 15—The Seven Superuniverses—§13, The Sector Governments & §14, Purposes of the Seven Superuniverses

The Cosmic Citizen: Divine Administration & Superuniverse Purpose
In this episode, we hope to complete our study of Urantia Paper 15, "The Seven Superuniverses." We will explore the majestic intent of the grand universe, as revealed in this wonderful paper, with a reading and discussion of Section 13. The Sector Governments, and Section 14, "Purposes of the Seven Superuniverses."

First, we journey through the layered governance of the superuniverses with Section 13, where divine administrators known as the Perfections of Days and Recents of Days oversee vast sectors of creation. These celestial governments are not merely bureaucratic; they are educational and formative, guiding ascending souls through intellectual training and physical coordination across billions of inhabited worlds.

Then, we will shift from structure to meaning in Section 14, where the seven superuniverses are revealed to embody distinct evolutionary purposes. Each superuniverse contributes uniquely to the unfolding of the Supreme Being, with Orvonton (our own superuniverse) serving as the radiant example of mercy, patience, and experiential love.
These sections invite us to contemplate the spiritual significance of cosmic diversity and the divine intention behind our universe’s design.

Join us as we reflect on how these celestial patterns mirror our own soul-journey, and how understanding the divine administration of the cosmos can deepen our sense of spiritual citizenship and planetary purpose.

In this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we will journey to Uversa, the HQ of the Superuniverse, to explore two sections that cover the legislative and judicial council. These include the Deliberative Assembly and the Supreme Tribunals.

“It is on such worlds as Uversa that the beings representative of the autocracy of perfection and the democracy of evolution meet face to face.”

The Deliberative Assembly on Uversa is comprised of seven houses, each house elects a native representative from among the ascending-pilgrim graduates, who serve a one-hundred-year term and effectively unite evolutionary voices with perfected governance.

This council has never voted down an executive directive; every recommendation has been carried out in perfect harmony, showcasing the union of evolutionary insight and divine leadership.

In the Supreme Tribunals, The Ancients of Days serve as the ultimate spiritual arbiters for the entire superuniverse. Sovereign Sons rule their local universes independently, but they may choose to bring questions before the Ancients.

When a case doesn’t require a full trial or formal evidence, the Ancients of Days (or their appointed associates) simply confer and issue a unanimous decision. These are councils of perfection: no votes are split, and no minority opinions appear in their rulings.

With very few exceptions, the superuniverse authorities have final jurisdiction over everything in their realm. Their decisions cannot be appealed because they reflect the fully united will of both the Ancients of Days and the Paradise Master Spirit who guides the superuniverse’s destiny.

Governance of Glory: Rulers of the Superuniverses

This week on The Cosmic Citizen, we explored the majestic spiritual governance of the seven superuniverses—vast domains of time and space overseen by divine personalities of extraordinary origin and purpose.

At the helm of each superuniverse are three Ancients of Days, supreme executives who embody justice, wisdom, and divine authority.

Their executive branch consists of seven different groups, which include Perfectors of Wisdom, Divine Counselors, and Universal Censors. These are Trinity-origin beings who ensure spiritual integrity and cosmic order. Also included are Mighty Messengers, Those High in Authority, and Those Without Name and Number. These are glorified ascendant mortals who have journeyed through Havona and now serve as Trinitized Sons of Attainment.

These rulers operate from the superuniverse headquarters. It also houses the Reflective Spirits and Reflective Image Aids, who facilitate divine communication across vast cosmic distances.

This section also reveals sector rulers and other regional overseers as well, such as: Perfections of Days, Recents of Days, Unions of Days, and Faithfuls of Days. Each one playing a vital role in the layered administration of creation—from major sectors to local universes and constellations.

This celestial government reflects the Paradise Trinity’s wisdom and mercy, which integrates evolutionary beings into divine service. It reveals a superuniverse that is not only governed with precision but also infused with love and spiritual purpose.
