We continue with Paper 12 of The Urantia Papers, The Universe of Universes, this week with a study of §2. The Domains of The Unqualified Absolute and §3. Universal Gravity. How does the Absolute of non-deified reality actualize the universe of universes and materialize reality? How do the various forms of universal gravity function to cohere the universe into a unified cosmos? In the not-distant future, new telescopes will reveal to the wondering gaze of Urantian astronomers no less than 375 million new galaxies in the remote stretches of outer space. At the same time these more powerful telescopes will disclose that many island universes formerly believed to be in outer space are really a part of the galactic system of Orvonton. The seven superuniverses are still growing; the periphery of each is gradually expanding; new nebulae are constantly being stabilized and organized; and some of the nebulae which Urantian astronomers regard as extragalactic are actually on the fringe of Orvonton and are traveling along with us. The Uversa star students observe that the grand universe is surrounded by the ancestors of a series of starry and planetary clusters which completely encircle the present inhabited creation as concentric rings of outer universes upon universes. ... We are informed that the metamorphosis of cosmic force in these outer space levels is a function of the Paradise force organizers. We also know that these forces are ancestral to those physical energies which at present activate the grand universe. We commence Paper 12 of The Urantia Papers, The Universe of Universes, this week with a study of the universe of universes. This is a remarkable way to introduce infinity and the cosmos as an organized, even if incomplete, creation. THE immensity of the far-flung creation of the Universal Father is utterly beyond the grasp of finite imagination; the enormousness of the master universe staggers the concept of even my order of being. But the mortal mind can be taught much about the plan and arrangement of the universes; you can know something of their physical organization and marvelous administration; you may learn much about the various groups of intelligent beings who inhabit the seven superuniverses of time and the central universe of eternity. 12:0.1 (128.1) The universe of universes is not an infinite plane, a boundless cube, nor a limitless circle; it certainly has dimensions. The laws of physical organization and administration prove conclusively that the whole vast aggregation of force-energy and matter-power functions ultimately as a space unit, as an organized and co-ordinated whole. The observable behavior of the material creation constitutes evidence of a physical universe of definite limits. This week we will FINALLY continue our reading of Urantia Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise, with a study of Section 8. Paradise Gravity, and we hope to conclude with Section 9. The Uniqueness of Paradise. The numerous forms of cosmic force, physical energy, universe power, and various materializations disclose three general, though not perfectly clear-cut, stages of response to Paradise gravity: Pregravity Stages (Force) - Gravity Stages (Energy) -Postgravity Stages (Universe Power). Space potency, originating from Paradise, is not subject to gravity but is the source of all force energy and material organization. Everything is ultimately drawn towards Paradise. Paradise is the eternal and exclusive realm at the center of all spiritual destinies. It's the center of infinity, distinct from the universal creation, and serves as the source of all energies and personalities. Originating from the Universal Father, Paradise symbolizes the nonpersonal aspect of reality, contrasting with the personal, spiritual expressions. It's not a creator or conscious entity but the absolute pattern for all creation. Ultimately, Paradise is the glorious, eternal abode and the final destination for all God-knowing mortals on their journey toward divinity and perfection. Last week we discussed the nature and magnitude of upper and peripheral Paradise as far as the human mind can conceive. Paradise is our ultimate destiny in the grand universe and is essentially a flat ellipsoid divided into three geographic domains: upper Paradise, peripheral Paradise, and nether Paradise. Paradise is the original non-spiritual expression of the First Source and Center and is created of a substance found nowhere else in the universe. We will study the nature of Nether Paradise and discuss its relationship to space, force, space potency, and the Unqualified Absolute. Concerning nether Paradise, we know only that which is revealed; personalities do not sojourn there. It has nothing whatever to do with the affairs of spirit intelligences, nor does the Deity Absolute there function. We are informed that all physical-energy and cosmic-force circuits have their origin on nether Paradise... 11:5.1 (122.1) We do not know the actual mechanism of space respiration; we merely observe that all space alternately contracts and expands. This respiration affects both the horizontal extension of pervaded space and the vertical extensions of unpervaded space which exist in the vast space reservoirs above and below Paradise. In attempting to imagine the volume outlines of these space reservoirs, you might think of an hourglass. 11:6.1 (123.3) For a billion years of Urantia time the space reservoirs contract while the master universe and the force activities of all horizontal space expand. This week we continue our reading of Urantia Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise, with a study of Sections 3 and 4, Upper Paradise and Peripheral Paradise. Last week we speculated that Paradise is our Home in the Grand Universe and is essentially a flat ellipsoid divided into three geographic domains: upper Paradise, peripheral Paradise, and nether Paradise. Paradise is the original non-spiritual expression of the First Source and Center and is created of a substance found nowhere else in the universe. This week we'll explore how on Upper Paradise, there are three main areas: the Deity presence, the Most Holy Sphere, and the Holy Area. The Most Holy Sphere, surrounding the Deity presence, is a purely spiritual realm reserved for worship and high spiritual activities. The Holy Area, also known as “the Father’s House,” is divided into seven concentric zones. The first zone contains the abodes of the Paradise Citizens and Havona natives, while the second zone is for beings from the seven superuniverses. Each has dedicated sectors for their advancement. These zones are designed to accommodate the needs of spiritual beings far beyond current requirements. The central Isle of Paradise ends abruptly at its periphery, which is so vast that this edge is almost indiscernible. The peripheral surface serves as the landing and dispatching area for spirit personalities. The majestic Seven Master Spirits have their power seats on the seven spheres of the Spirit, but they maintain headquarters on the periphery of Paradise. This area also hosts historic and prophetic exhibits for the Creator Sons, with seven trillion reservations set up or in reserve, which is only about four percent of the designated area. The space allocated for existing universes can accommodate an almost infinite creation. Human beings imagine that Paradise must be GRAND, but really have no idea just how grand it is! This week we continue with our study of Uranita Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise, as we explore the absolute but material Isle of Paradise with Sections 2 & 3, The Nature of the Eternal Isle and Upper Paradise. Since you are beginning to glimpse the enormousness of the material universe discernible even from your astronomical location, your space position in the starry systems, it should become evident to you that such a tremendous material universe must have an adequate and worthy capital, a headquarters commensurate with the dignity and infinitude of the universal Ruler of all this vast and far-flung creation of material realms and living beings. (119.3) 11:2.2 In form Paradise differs from the inhabited space bodies: it is not spherical. It is definitely ellipsoid, being one-sixth longer in the north-south diameter than in the east-west diameter. This week we begin a brand new paper, Urantia Paper 11, The Eternal Isle of Paradise!  Haven't you always wanted to learn all about Paradise? For a year we've thoroughly explored and discussed The Urantia Book teachings on the three persons of Deity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Infinite Spirit. Now we discover what the revelation teaches about their central abode, a place called Paradise! Paradise, as described in Urantia Paper 11, is the eternal center of the universe of universes. It serves as the abiding place of the Universal Father, the Eternal Son, the Infinite Spirit, and their divine associates. This central Isle is both a material and spiritual abode. The material beauty of Paradise lies in its physical perfection, while its grandeur is exhibited through the intellectual accomplishments and mind development of its inhabitants. However, the depths of its spiritual beauty and wonders are beyond mortal comprehension. The glory and spiritual splendor of this divine abode are impossible for finite minds to fully grasp. Paradise has existed from eternity. The book defines Paradise this way: "Paradise is the pattern of infinity; the God of Action is the activator of that pattern. Paradise is the material fulcrum of infinity; the agencies of the Third Source and Center are the levers of intelligence which motivate the material level and inject spontaneity into the mechanism of the physical creation." And, "Throughout the material universes Paradise influences the reactions and conduct of all beings having to do with force, energy, and power, but Paradise itself is unique, exclusive, and isolated in the universes. The Paradise Trinity is like a cosmic superhero squad, and understanding them is like decoding the universe’s grandest mystery!  That is certainly what we've attempted to do in our study of Urantia Paper 10 - The Paradise Trinity. This week we come to an end of this fascinating paper. We have covered much, but here are some key concepts: The Paradise Trinity facilitates the Universal Father’s escape from personality absolutism. It perfectly associates God’s infinite personal will with the absoluteness of Deity.The Universal Father delegates every possible power and authority and transfers prerogatives to his divine Sons, ensuring their competence and authority in their respective universes.The Trinity represents Deity unity, resting upon the absolute foundations of the divine oneness of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit.The Trinity provides for the full expression and perfect revelation of God’s eternal nature. It is the one inescapable inevitability in the master universe.The Stationary Sons of the Trinity reveal divine justice to the Universe of Universes and contribute to the Trinity’s perfect expression.The Trinity achieves threefold and coordinated personalization in the face of the absolute oneness of Deity. No other concept of creation measures up to this completeness and volitional liberation.Likely the circumstances of existence and the inexplicable vicissitudes of living are all interwoven into a meaningful pattern of high value by the function of the Supreme and the overcontrol of the Trinity. This week we'll learn that while no single person of the Paradise Deities actually fills all Deity potential, collectively all three do. Three infinite persons seem to be the minimum number of beings required to activate the absolute potential of total Deity. Join us!
