In 2024, we have begun a series on the Life of Abraham, called Walking with Abraham. 

In this session, we explore why Abram in Gen 12 is still goin' on after he obeyed God and reached where God wanted him. Famine hits the land and obedience to God is tougher than maybe he anticipated. His father had left Ur when Abram's brother died. Now Abram may see the promise of God in jeopardy, and he needs to aid God by goin' down to Egypt. God needs help, and Abram wants to be a hero who ends up being more like a zero almost via compromise derailing the whole mission. God has to get Abram back on mission.
