We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context.
In this session, we continue our series on Redemption following The Bible Project. To best understand biblical redemption, how did God originally teach it biblically from the beginning? We return to the passages where its significance is given in the places of the Bible that should take precedence over our later views often missing the biblical context. In this episode, we begin to explore the significance of how the kinsman redeemer shows us what redemption looks like biblically from the story of Ruth where we see Naomi in her most bitter moment be the perfect candidate for God's redemption through the most unlikely of ways because it is God doing only what he can do!
We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives. Stay tuned for our future episodes as we continue to discover more mysteries of the Bible in the sessions that follow.
