The Couch Brotatos

This week on THE COUCH BROTATOS, we head back to Arlen Texas to visit The Hills and see how this season holds up. By season 8, the cracks in the writing are starting to show and the show is starting to get an overall "cartoon" vibe with episodes including a weird Christian Rock episode, Bobby stealing Hank's credit card because he thinks Hank's rich and is going to spend all his cash to help him "live a little", dirty hippies, dirty workplace humor, and the list goes on. Is it still a good season? Let's find out!

This week on THE COUCH BROTATOS, we dive into the super hero nightmare that is THE BOYS! This comic book turned Amazon series dives into how the real world could possibly be if we ended up having these "supes" in real life. Let's just say; a lot of death, government cover-ups, and of course the people that want to keep the supes in check .. and that's where "The Boys" come in. Sit back, and let's watch this dumpster fire!

This is the way; with the 2nd season wrapping up, we dig into the first season of THE MANDALORIAN and discuss how and why this series seems to click and resonate more than the last few "episode" movies have (spoiler alert; it's part of the reason we haven't finished that series yet) ... and don't call him Baby Yoda, damnit!

It's time for another dang ol' episode of THE COUCH BROTATOS! We're over half way through our King of The Hill series recap, and the show hasn't slowed down in our opinion. The stories might be getting wilder, but the adventures and jokes are still on point.

We've got a thick episode of THE COUCH BROTATOS for you this week as we put a cap on our MCU retrospective just in time for the new Disney+ series coming out soon! We take a look at Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Captain Marvel (2019), and Avengers: Endgame (2019) .. Since we covered Spider-Man in his own episodes, we ended up skipping it, but you can hear us talk it out on our 2 Spider-Man retrospective episodes!

This week on THE COUCH BROTAOS, we start the wrap-up of our MCU retrospective! We had to take Phase 3 and split it in two, because this phase seriously had some great films that we just had to highlight.

We talk about; Captain America: Civil War (2016), Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Black Panther (2018)

The boys are back talking about everyone's favorite wall crawler; SPIDER-MAN. In this episode, we discuss the Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland rebooted Spider-Man movies, and if they seem to have gotten the character closer to correct in these films.

We're dang ol' back! Alex, James and Morrison take a seat and a look back at KING OF THE HILL Season 6! As we quickly find out; this is a very "meme heavy" season, with some pretty great episodes off the top .. but how does the rest of the season pan out in our eyes?

This week on THE COUCH BROTATOS; we revisit a topic from back in September and start looking at the MCU Phase 2 movies including IRON MAN 3 (2013), THOR: THE DARK WORLD (2013), CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER (2014), GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY (2014), AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015), and ANT-MAN (2015).

This week on THE COUCH BROTATOS, the boys discuss everyone's favorite wall-crawler; SPIDER-MAN! We break down the 80s and 90s cartoon series for a bit, before discussing the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy directed by Sam Raimi.
