In a time where stories are often manipulated, underreported or misrepresented in the media ecosystem, we are joined by Chicago's very own Kyle Prater, a local creative and multifaceted artist, to discuss the power of narrative, the medium in which he tells stories and creates music and how he engages with his audience.

For our final episode of Season 1, Kyle Prater is joined by Peter 'CottonTale' Wilkins, a Grammy Award-winning artist and music director for Chance The Rapper. Prater and Wilkins' shared love of music shines through in this discussion of their creative processes, along with a live music element to allow guests to visualize the artistic process and witness the magic unfold in real time.

We sat down with creative director Tuan Huynh , the owner of Viet V Coffee located downtown Chicago in the West Loop. This was Kyle's 3rd installment of "The Couch" series where he sat down with Tuan and had a powerful and spiritual conversation about both their plights and obstacles to overcome to get to where they are today.

We had our second installment of The Couch Series: Live Music & Storytelling at @sohohousechicago with @fitandfullbykayla & @briahna31 being last months special guest on The Couch. Black women’s sacrifices, success, struggles, and everything in between deserve to be recognized.
