Here's a question that we both get asked numerous times exactly how trusting do you need to be in order to have a successful relationship?   

The answer to that really is completely and transparently, the main reason we get into relationships is to have that space and person that we know has our back and that we can be vulnerable with and so in order to have that you have to not only trust the person you are with won't do something detrimental to your union but you also have to trust them enough to tell that the stuff you hide from others.

Communicating that you are not happy about the smallest of thins can be a difficult thing to do when you are in a relationship. Even the smallest of things can trigger insecurities within either party and cause anxiety.  

Will they listen? Will they take it in the wrong way and leave?   

When you say nothing in a relationship you are really saying its OK for this behaviour to continue, when you say nothing you are saying that you are OK with whatever it is that they have done and whether that be intensional or not it still sends a message to that effect.  In this week cast we are getting into it all and hopefully giving some insight on not just how to handle it but a better understanding of how to communicate effectively and so avoid unhealthy confrontation.
