Happy February and Happy Black History Month everyone, we have one of the most powerful voices in the Boston community on today and BOY, it does not disappoint. Sponsored athlete, trainer, self-proclaimed "courage architect" and former theater nerd Ashley Mitchell has spent the majority of her life cultivating a courage based mindset through triumph and struggle. From leaving grad school to be an actress, to auditioning and training at Soulcycle — Ash has woven the thread of courage throughout her experience and is now teaching people how to tap into their own personal power. She speaks candidly about what it's like to be a black woman in the fitness industry, what it's like to be a POC in our country, and the daily struggle to inform others and provide them knowledge without holding bias. This conversation is POWERFUL and full of respect, frustration, hope and information alike. We are proud to have Ashley on as the first feature for Black History Month and hope you'll tune in for the many powerful guests to follow.
In this episode, we dive into…
…and so much more!
