The courage to be vulnerable is something I've seen on many motivational quotes shared across the internet.

Buy why is vulnerability classed as courageous? Why do we have to have courage in order to be vulnerable. 

After sharing my deepest darkest moments in my first book, I found myself thinking the opposite, that actually it isn't courageous to be vulnerable, really vulnerability is something we all experience in our lives but we all seem to hide it.
