In Episode 9, we tap into all of our leftover feels from the 00’s, as we revisit one of the greatest (and misunderstood) feminine horror monsters of our time, Jennifer Check, in 2009’s Jennifer’s Body. Recently reclaimed for the brilliant, and ferociously delicious film that it is, we look back on the societal horror show that was the response to this movie, what 2009 was like, spiritual inspiration, our experience as teen horror fans, and how we most certainly do not deserve Megan Fox.

We are kicking off our first episode of 2021 with that very specific Saturday-morning-cartoon-theme-32-pack-of-valentines-for-your-class vibe! It’s our Valentine’s Day Double Feature! Part 1: We discuss love, paganism, personal work ethic, & creative business as we break down 2016’s horror film, The Love Witch. Part 2: We list of our character crushes and the media that made us fall for them (which may or may not include the ninja turtles). Spoiler, it definitely includes the ninja turtles.

Does it hold up? Does it make us feel old? Are we still in love with David Duchovny (spoiler: of course!).
