The Cowboys Shift

Certainly was not what all hoped it would be, Washington 25, Cowboys 3, and excuses not allowed. The guys simply point out this team is just not very good. Especially not the defense, and now an offense possibly without its top two quarterbacks, and _Who’s Next._

A little bit of a walk down memory lane for this game with the Washington Football Team, one of the Cowboys oldest rivalries that has faded away over the past 10 years, to what the Cowboys must do to move back into first place, along with a couple Bill Parcells stories, too.

While the guys invoked the names a former Cowboys Phil Pozderac and Dexter Clinkscales, the discussion grew heavy on the Cowboys defense, one certainly needing to become more defensive and come to the aid of an offensive line decimated by injuries.

Sean Lee sounds off about supposedly anonymous players criticizing the coaching staff, and the guys remind of one of those Bill Parcells locker room signs. More on Brandon Knights knee scope and what’s next on the offensive line’s revolving door.

Dak is back in the building, Leighton Vander Esch back into full practice and the Cowboys defense on the rise. Great insight from Everson on Cards wideout DeAndre Hopkins but also how’s a corner to deal with Michael Gallup. Plus, Kyler Murray 6-0 playing at AT&T Stadium.

This show was packed with info, the guys lecturing Everson about being on time, updates on Dak’s surgery, too bad for Trysten Hill, Andy Dalton being signed for just this very situation, who is Garrett Gilbert and finally wishing owner Jerry Jones a happy 78th birthday.

Sure is hard for the Cowboys to celebrate a victory knowing they lost Dak Prescott for the season, and the guys talk about the outpouring of emotion most us of had watching Dak writher in pain, but how about Andy Dalton, CeeDee Lamb and a resurgent defense.
