Hair-raising paranormal adventure!
Fans of fast-paced supernatural thrillers will not be disappointed with this creepy page-turner! The book opens with a literal runaway on horseback, a fitting metaphor for the reader's adventure through the pages-- almost before you're in the saddle, you're off and running with a fresh and nimble mount, charging into paranormal experience! Surprising twists and engaging characters emerge in the quieter moments between the scenes of eerie encounters with forces much larger than human understanding. Sure to be a favorite of readers who love nothing more than to be swept into a book they cannot put down!
Big, Scary, Dangerous Ghosts!
The Crandall Haunting by A. H. Gilbert is chilling in all the right places. My eyes were glued to the page in this horror-suspense. A true ghost story with big, dangerous scary ghosts and a father and daughter who are in peril through their bloodline rather than their deeds. I was worried about Emerson and his daughter, Courtney, as they arrive on the Crandall estate unaware of the ghostly targets upon their backs. A. H. Gilbert has crafts a spine-tingling tale. Highly recommended.
As one whose favorite genre is supernatural/UFO stories
As one whose favorite genre is supernatural/UFO stories, I also tend to have high expectations and am easily disappointed or critical. This story did not disappoint! Ma Gilbert is talented at weaving a story and connecting many patterns into an interesting quilt of mystery and tension. This her first publishing is a great appetizer for what will yet come! I will be on the lookout, with great anticipation, for her next book!

I loved the Crandall Haunting! It was so exciting from start to finish, I didn't want to put it down! It was both mysterious and nerve racking at the same time! I couldn't wait to learn what was going to happen next! Even though I had nightmares during the time I was reading this book, I can't wait to read more hauntings from A.H.
