We’ve only been in Canada for a few days but we have already taken several crash courses in: the metric system, money conversions, living on the 4th floor … I’ve also been learning a lot about the power of words. 🤍

After a conversation with my cousin, I was able to put into words why I love mindset work and the coaching world so much!

“Maybe time running out is a gift and I’ll work hard to the end of my shift.” - Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit // These words ring true as we’ve celebrated the lives of 2 grandmas in the last 2 months. Time running out makes our time matter. In this episode we chat about 3 ways to be more intentional with time and relationships.

Due to another unexpected funeral, we’ve changed our itinerary quite a bit. We road tripped from West Virginia to Utah and will continue on to California for a family visit. Through all the changes and unknowns, I’ve felt the Savior’s love as I practice slowing down and being with Him.

We’ve had 2 weeks full of fun adventures and exploring more of West Virginia while also learning how to slow down our pace (even more) in unexpected ways!

We visited Marshall University, went to a stranger’s birthday party, and hiked up a mudslide! Plus, 3 thoughts for a drama free Mother’s Day. (Mamas, I’ve got your back!)

This week has been full of exciting adventures - hiking, fishing, chess club, a homeschool field trip, and a giant hot dog! And the best part - we made new friends!

A weekend trip to VA, an unexpected funeral in Las Vegas, Solar Con in SLC, and a road trip from North Carolina to WEST VIRGINIA! We’ve made it to state NINE!

Milestone birthdays, Easter weekend, playing tourist, and a “Ted Talk” on consumerism.
