So I was doing some research with my friends over at StreamHatchet and discovered a pretty crazy thing about Twitch viewers. It always struck me why Twitch felt like a niche website, and why it is so difficult for small streamers to grow on Twitch. But I was also interested in the Twitch viewer themselves. What kind of viewing habits do they have, and what kind of viewer watches the top streamers on Twitch?

I found out some interesting stats and wanted to share them in a video. This video covers Twitch as a whole and is meta commentary on how large Twitch is. It should give some great information about being a Twitch streamer, growing a Twitch stream, and where you should stream on Twitch or Youtube.
