This is a video attempting to break down the entire issue of gambling on Twitch. Online gambling on Twitch has exploded in popularity in the last few years with broadcasters like TrainwrecksTV , Adin Ross , and XqC all running gambling streams to tens of thousands of viewers. Many broadcasters and viewers have called on Twitch to ban gambling from the website entirely. Recently popular streamers Pokimane , Hasanabi , and Mizkif have taken issue with gambling and called for a boycott with a hashtag.
But is gambling actually bad? Why should gambling be banned from Twitch? Is it worth advocating for the banning of gambling on Twitch? This video attempts to explore those issues from a data backed perspective and explain the real harm behind gambling on Twitch and the problems it causes. I don't think there is enough discussion about this issue from this perspective.

I read the article on Bloomberg about Twitch employees and executives leaving Twitch and the exodus of executives leaving Twitch and wanted to make a historical commentary on what happened from 2012 to now to get the platform to this point. This is a video about the failure of Twitch to maintain its community and to direct the company in a way that would help streamers grow on Twitch and streamers make money on Twitch.
For anyone interested in Twitch or people who want to be a streamer, or people in the marketing world interested in Twitch, this is a great historical video to watch! I hope this video is unique insight into the business side of Twitch and the executive leadership issues that made it.

I've moved away from Twitch coverage because I find other topics in the business world more interesting, but I've been watching this one. The future of Twitch and how streamers will build careers is an interesting one, especially as more streamers begin to multistream. I'm interested to see what happens.
