The dreaded creative block. We've all experienced those moments when inspiration seems elusive, and our artistic flow comes to a screeching halt. But fear not, for I am here to explore the elements that contribute to this phenomenon and share some techniques to eliminate the creative block. As we navigate this path, it's crucial to acknowledge that creativity is not a constant stream; it ebbs and flows, and sometimes encounters obstacles along the way. The creative block is one such obstacle, but it's not insurmountable.
So, what are the elements that contribute to the creative block?
1. Self-Doubt and Fear of Failure: The fear of not being good enough or producing work that falls short of our expectations can be paralyzing. It creeps in, sows seeds of doubt, and dampens our creative spirit.
2. Perfectionism: Striving for perfection can be a double-edged sword. While it pushes us to excel, it can also lead to a fear of making mistakes or taking risks. The quest for flawlessness can inhibit our ability to experiment and explore new artistic avenues.
3. Lack of Inspiration: Sometimes, the well of inspiration runs dry. We find ourselves staring at a blank canvas, devoid of ideas or a starting point. This lack of external inspiration can significantly contribute to a creative block.
Listen to this episode to get insight into this and how to deal with it.

Eery creative or artist will come accros this term at some point in their live. I'm using the case of Kristen Visbal to demonstrate for more clarity. Trust me, clarity will be given in this podcast.

Hey C&A's, how are you all doing?
Today, I had the honor to be talking to two confident women from the African diaspora. We talk about their creative and artistic experience and journey of being dancers and developing themselves into entrepreneurs. Two women that have decided to join forces but also work independently within their own productions. What makes their story so unique is that they made the decision to base the foundation of their businesses on knowledge and talent instead of what is the next trend. We talk about the importance of having a great network, the rise and understanding of Afro based dances, and a lot more.
Daniela is the founder of DMEM Industries. Patricia is the founder of BINA Productions. Visit their profiles on Instagram for more info on their productions.
