Our lives can take a lot of unexpected twists and turns as we live out the calling the Lord has given us. There are times we move forward with great pace.
There are time when all seem at a stand still. There are times we must lay aside our dreams for a season so that we can show the love of christ to others in need.
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13 ESV
That can sometimes be the hardest place to be, but it is also a time of proving our faithfulness to the Lord and His Word to us. It is then that we must know that the Lord is allowing us to move toward His best for us coming down the road. My guest on this episode has walked through all of this, and as a result has seen the Lord work in mighty ways.

Psalm 101:3 ESV
“Worthless” here means to be good for nothing, causes destruction or hard heartedness. There are literally thousands and thousands of books being sold, and we cannot be too careful. Popularity is not an indicator of sound, correct doctrine.On this episode, my guest and I are going to discuss one of the most popular books within the church for almost 20 years. “Jesus Calling”.

Wether it is the plot to a book they are going to write, lyrics of a new song, chord progressions that’s capture a mood or feeling, all of these require a vision to move forward. It also requires discipline to carry out that vision. For the disciple of Christ, seeking what His will and desire are for them. He is the ultimate source for any vision that will have eternal consequence. Sometimes, however, that vision can become blurry and hard to see. That can lead us to feeling isolated and questioning what we are doing. Does this matter at all for the kingdom of Christ? Is what I am doing meaningful at all? Its at those times the Lord can do His best work, because we are driven to total reliance on Him. My guest on this episode has much to build us up as she shares her journey with the Lord!
