You listen to a finished song, most people do, hearing the artist singing it. But behind that voice, there’s typically a tribe of people toiling behind the scenes the studio guys. These are the producers, engineers, beatmakers and musicians who sit with the music for hours, if not days, position small pieces until everything makes sense.

An individual can work all night just on one sound of a snare drum. Another might lay down a vocal line 20 times, all in the name of capturing one fleeting spark of feeling. It’s not about showing off. It’s what needs for the song. These are folks with ears to hear the filigree many of us wouldn’t recognize.Small bass thinner in tenor than desired?A just outside the box octave? They hear it all.

Some work in big studios, with costly gear. Others are at home with headphones and a laptop. But the emphasis is the same mold the sound until it lands where it should. And they start easily lied to, which is where they belong, chasing feelings with tools software, instruments, silence. And they generally don’t receive a lot of credit. Their names are small and, if they’re there at all. But it would still make the music feel something less than what it should. Most of the time, it wouldn’t even be there.

It was one of those little plastic cups with a wooden spoon, the kind you don’t even think about. The kind that melts too fast. But it's June and the heat has kind of attached itself to everything, the sidewalks, your arms, the back of your neck. The store I got it from is small and oldish.

I chose this flavor which till todya I've not bothered ask which one, I just say, please give me the usual alright. The cup gets very cold in my hand, colder than anything I had come across in the day but always worth it. I was out on the edge of the parking lot, not even on a bench, just a low wall. The wooden spoon did bend to almost break slightly when I dug but still retained the handle so we're good and I straightened it out in no time.

A cup of ice cream like this doesn't last long in my hands at all. 1, 2, 3 to the 5 scoop and I'm done. I ain't got time to romanticize it when I'm kind of addicted 🤣

I went so see the Ghana vs Chad soccer game at the Accra Sports Stadium. I’ve seen plenty of games on TV, but this time around I wanted to know what it feels like to be there. The energy was different. I could hear drums, chants and people laughing as soon as I got near the stadium. Everyone was wearing something displaying Ghana’s colors, scarves, shirts, flags knotted around heads.

Though inside the stadium, it was loud and hot. The crowd moved like a wave. When Ghana got near the goal, everyone shot up and screamed and clapped. It’s a feeling you don’t feel when you’re at home. On television you hear the announcer more than the fans. At the stadium, the sound makes your chest vibrate. Even in silences, people are singing or arguing or jumping.

But sometimes I couldn’t get the full picture if something else was happening at the same location. And if the ball was long distance, I couldn’t tell what happened until the crowd reacted. On TV, you can see the entire pitch, and the camera is on the ball. In the stadium, you have to scan more and focus. It also made me aware of just how much the game can scurry along.

But being there was electric in a way it’s difficult for me to convey. People I’d never met were high fiving and dancing with me when Ghana was scoring. It felt more alive. Like I was on the inside of something instead of just viewing it.

I went to the zoo without knowing what to expect but two very cool birds made the entire experience worth it. The first bird I saw was the Grey Crowned Crane. It strode around with this amazing golden crown of feathers on its head. It walked slowly and carefully almost as if it knew someone would be watching over it. It had these long legs and a sunny face, so the people that were around couldn't help but look. I just sat and continued staring at it for a couple of minutes without even noticing. It didn't fly or flapped, but instead walked with confidence.

Near the crane was another bird that appeared to be pretty much the opposite. A hornbill, black with clean lines and a giant beak. I believe I am reasonably sure it was an Abyssinian Ground Hornbill. It wasn't as still as the crane. It seemed more curious, like it was always looking for something. It had this alert energy in its eyes. I’ve seen pictures of hornbills before, but seeing one move around just a few steps away from me was something else.

The two birds are in the same cage, but they appeared to be birds from two entirely different worlds. I was there and I didn't think I was watching animals. I thought that I had invaded their world and they were fine with it.

Today, I saw the cutest little guy, a beautiful black little puppy. He was so small and fluffy, I wanted to pick it up but it was way too scared to go to any stranger. The way it walked on the red tiles almost like a dog model. I wasn't able to touch it but it looked so so soft.

There was a big blue water bucket near him. Maybe he was trying to find some water or just looking around. But I think I spooked him before he could try climbing the bucket.

If you have ever had the displeasure of encountering a black dog, you will know that they have their unique kind of charm.

There's ancient myths, a challenge taking their photo or just sheer prejudice. Let’s set the issue straight, then, black dogs are adorable and they need the publicity.

But for me I see them as the coolest. This little guy is definitely the cutest dog I have encountered. Of course I'm not that much of a dog person but I would have no issues taking care of it.

Holy smokes guys, what the hell is that? This is the kinda thing I don't go near unless there's an expert around and even with that I stay right behind the expert.

I'm not a scardy cat but it's simple wisdom not to go near anything that looks like it can end your life with one strike.

Maybe I just discriminated and maybe it's actually friendly, but it doesn't look friendly to me so I'll wait for someone who knows exactly what it is to prove that it's friendly.

It definitely is a crab because of the way it looks but it's difficult for me to identify which type of crab it is. It looks strong but was hiding under the grass and close to the wall for reasons I don't know.

Maybe it sees this area as its home. Maybe it just ran from a predator. Maybe it's even as scared as I am just looking at it.

I can't pass sa judgement because I just don't understand what it is but I can tell you this much, the only thing that got closer to it is a camera zoom lens and not my body.

I ain't going near it and risking it. But it could be a lovely fella.

What's the biggest Kebab you've eaten though?

I'm pretty sure everyone has eaten Kebab before but just in case you're unfamiliar with it, it's basically just grilled meat on a stick, they could use beef, chicken or lamb.

Fun fact, kebab started in the Middle East many years ago. I'm not saying they invented, perhaps they did, but that's the oldest history I know so far.

But I believe that's an Arabic word which means roasted meat. We've got so many different types like shish kebab, doner kebab and kofta.

Quickest place to get it is in the fast food joints. I personally love to eat with bread, rice, or salad. Of course eating it alone chill, but if I've got nothing I'll take a can of soda with it anytime.

Some cooks make the kebabs spicy and others prefer to make them less spicy or mild.

I think this is one street food you can find in so many places, it's too easy to get and eat.

You might ask me what about the vegetarians. Well, vegetarian kebabs exist, they make em with veggies or tofu.

I had to fvt check the health benefits of kebab. Well whatever meat gives but all I can say is Kebab can be healthy, if grilled and not fried.

Lunch is more than just eating. Lunch with family has great meaning. It gives us happiness and comfort from those we love in life. When we change our meals from eating solo or alone to lunch with family, we chat with people that love us, interact and listen to those we have an intimate relationship with. This helps further build a stronger family relationship.

Most people are busy. Many people eat lunch alone when at school or work. It can be enough to take fifteen or twenty minutes to be with family. This is important, because everyone needs a break from the matrix which is work, work, work to survive. Everyone need to feel a closeness and talk about each other’s days. If children eat lunch with their parents, they feel comfort and happiness, parents learn how their child felt about their day.

Family lunch is not about a large amount of food or a fancy lunch unlike what I'm showing you here. Don't worry it's not food for one guys it's about 7 different people, eight of you include my sister's baby boy. Any food can be special because it is shared. Lunch with family is a time to put down the phones and not worry about them, it is time to have social conversation.

In this life, and the modern era so many things take our time away. I personally feel like a failure if my lifestyle does not allow enough time to eat with someone I love. Our world sometimes steals something more important than food. It steals love and time spent with family. Let’s try to have lunch with our family at least as much as possible. It may feel small, but it means a lot, and it fills our hearts.

Not everywhere in my country is super developed. To be deeply honest, Accra which is the capital city is actually the most advanced and if your make a Google search for images of Accra, it really is surreal stunning area.

The government and the people are seeking to develop other regions of the nation. This is Sunyani, an awesome region in Ghana. A plane view of this place let's you understand just how connected it is to nature. We keep most of the trees and I'm hoping the as it develops, it doesn't make the same decisions they did with Accra where it's more high rise buildings than High rise trees.

I filmed a video from window seat while landing at Sunyani, a small town in the Bono Region of Ghana. As I filmed the video, you can see the plane’s engine and land below. Everything appeared green, vast and quiet.

As we arrived at the airport, I could see farms, trees, small houses and reddish roads, well that's to say not developed roads. It was incredibly different than being in a big city like Accra, where there is transport noise, traffic and distractions not here. It was calm and peaceful with nature surrounding me.

I could see people walking and going about their daily lives. Some of the houses still had tin roofs. The palm trees were gently swaying and everything felt more natural and less artificial. Flying into Sunyani was beautiful time.

This video makes me feel that Ghana has more than the big cities, Sunyani has its own beauty even if it doesn't look advanced. Looking down at the land from the sky brought me to thoughts of life in a simple manner.
