The Crime Tapes Podcast

In the latest episode of The Crime Tapes Podcast, host Nessa dives into an incident that took place in Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park. Centering on a man named Wade Thyfault, the story examines a high-speed chase and a consequential violent crash within the national park, followed by an intense manhunt. Thyfault is now facing serious charges due to his reckless driving across the Trail Ridge Road, considered the highest continuous paved road in North America. After causing a substantial accident involving a Toyota Corolla holding three unsuspecting individuals, he fled the scene, leading to a large-scale search across the park. Despite local residents being on edge, with Thyfault at large, he was ultimately apprehended without further incident. Nessa also addresses the ongoing legal processes but also emphasizes the human toll of such an event, from the traumatic physical injuries sustained by the victims in the Toyota Corolla, to the enduring disruption of peace within the community.
