The Criterion Quest

After their daring prison escape last week Tom & Chris now find themselves hiding out in a small Slovakian town where the imposing threat of the Nazi regime is slowly starting to take hold.

Seeking a happier setting following their last outing Tom & Chris find themselves in a French jail in the mid 1940s, getting caught up with five inmates as they plan an intricate escape attempt.

Tom & Chris find themselves working their way through the rich and varied history of Denmark as they encounter everything from witch-hunts to reincarnation, meeting religious conflict and fickle women who can't stop looking off into the distance along the way.

After a brief hiatus Tom & Chris return and find themselves back in the USA and on the road with a group of traveling salesmen working hard to sell the Good Book. Their travels find them reaching a dilapidated old house in the upper class community of The Hamptons where they spend some time with an eccentric pair of older women (and their many animals).

After deciding to stick around London for a little while longer Tom & Chris find themselves in the company of an aspiring young writer who spends most of his days either living in daydream or concocting elaborate lies as a means to fuel his creativity.

Moving from directors to actors Tom & Chris spend a weekend in the English countryside with a pair of alcoholic, down on their luck actors looking to get out of the city for a while. However, when the weather becomes too bleak and unbearable they shift to another part of the country and look in on an advertising executive who is going through a few things and suffering from a rather peculiar ailment...

After spending some time with the rich Tom & Chris decide to mix things up a bit and take to the road with a film director who's masquerading as a poor man in an attempt to find a truly human story for his next motion picture.

Tom & Chris find themselves abandoning the rugged Japanese mountains for the more quaint and serene French countryside where they join a woman as she embarks on her new employ as a maid in the house of a rich, mean and slightly odd family.

Following the bungled crime exploit they got wrapped up in last week Tom & Chris decide to try their hand at some good deeds as they join forces with a samurai general, a princess in hiding and two bumbling fools as they try to make their way across enemy lines and back safely to their homeland.

After spending some time in high society Tom & Chris decide it's time to turn back to the streets and a life of crime as they join a group of French thieves as they plan to pull off the biggest jewel heist the country has ever seen.
