The Church may need a tribulation.  The Great Tribulation that will lead the present discombobulated, fractured, often compromising Church into a spirit of holiness, a resolve… a Bride that has made herself ready for the return of the Bridegroom. Building up a highway of holiness, taking out the stones of offense and accusation,  lifting a banner before the nations.  Saying to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming'!

When Abraham lifted the knife over his only son Issac as he lay on the altar of sacrifice, God interrupted the proceedings with three important words, 'Now I Know.' Convinced by the most harrowing step faith the old patriarch could take, the Lord was convinced He chose the right guy! As we approach the end of the age with all the trauma accompanying those days, will God look down from the heavens, see a company of overcomers and declare, "Now I know?"

God is revealing His long-held mysteries these days.  Mysteries He's held in plain sight for millennia.  Revealing timing indicators.  He wants us to recognize time frames that are more precise than often considered.

Mat 24:14  "… this [apocalyptic] gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”  The gospel that is being revealed in the closing days of this age.  Our God laid out the blueprint for this task through the mouth of David in Psalm 2, so the Son of David might reveal it to the nations in our day!

"We preach for the absence of criticism, instead of the presence of the Holy Spirit.”  That's quite a statement.  It certainly got my attention when I first heard it.  Mat 24:45  "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?”  As pastors and teachers, I strongly believe we’ll be more intently required to pay close attention to the Word of the Lord, shifting to a more apocalyptic presentation —a seasonal word that will land you outside the categories of religion and cultural influence.  Right where you need to be!

It may not come with bullets and bombs, but perhaps from explosive bursts of marginalization, cancel culture, coming from a woke generation that sees our God and our deepening love for His son, entirely out of step with societal norms.  Might removing insignificant folks like you and me from the global conversation of the day be performing God an excellent service?  Let's find out.

God is issuing a radical call to strategic prayer, guided by the Holy Spirit, that prepares the way for the Lord to move in the spiritual realm, ultimately affecting change in the natural realm.
The idea here is that God is telling His people to speak what He tells them to say.  He’s calling on a generation in this day to choose their words carefully and declare directly to the demonic opposition the prophetic plans He has for His soon-coming Kingdom.  Words coming through the mouths of Holy Spirit anointed Believers like you and me.  Let's learn what He wants us to say!
