People were drawn to Jesus. They recognized that His message differed from the religious elite.

When His friends and family heard about the content of His preaching they came to get Him. Their intent was to confine him to their home as was common of those who were mentally unstable at that time.

Jesus responds to the accusations of being possessed by Satan and casting out demons through his power.

Jesus goes on to accuse the Scribes and Pharisees of blasphemy.
