This study is on this week's Gospel Lesson - John 3:1-17.

Most of us Christians are very familiar with the Gospel Lesson for this week.

Mainly, because it contains a verse we memorized early on in Sunday School. You may have heard it described as The Gospel In A Nutshell.

That verse is, of course, John 3:16.

The Gospel Lesson is also fascinating because it records a  conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus. Nicodemus is recognized as being a leader within the Sanhedrin. . .possibly the Chief Ruler within this Jewish ruling body.
