When ordinary people step out in faith, God does extraordinary things.

In this week’s message, COME, LET US BUILD, we continue our journey through the book of Nehemiah—discovering what happens when God’s people rise up together for a Kingdom-sized vision. Nehemiah wasn’t a warrior or a builder. He was a cupbearer—an ordinary man whose heart was moved by the burden God placed on him. Yet through prayer, courage, and God’s gracious hand, he stepped into an impossible mission: rebuilding the broken walls of Jerusalem.

In Nehemiah 2:10–3:32, Adam Woods walks us through the steps Nehemiah took before construction ever began. Nehemiah understood the situation, shared the vision, led with faith, responded with faith, and invited the people to rise up and work. And just like then, stepping into God’s vision today still invites opposition—but it also invites opportunity for God to move powerfully through His people.

This message also connects Nehemiah’s story to our season as a church family. The Lord has continued to grow The Crossing, and we are stepping into BUILD—a faith-filled initiative to expand our space so we can make room for the people God keeps sending. It’s not equal giving, but equal sacrifice—and God takes whatever we offer and multiplies it for His glory.

Before Nehemiah ever built a wall, he built an altar of prayer.

If something is worth loving, it’s worth protecting—and the best way to protect your relationships is by living the way God calls you to live.

In this week’s message, Austin Garrett continues our Love Handles series with a powerful reminder that the way we live directly affects the relationships we have. Drawing from Ephesians 5:3–20, Austin shows us the sharp contrast between worldly living—driven by selfish desires, impurity, and careless words—and proper living—a life filled with thanksgiving, holiness, and light.

What does it mean to truly go ALL IN with Jesus? In this final message of our All In series, we discover that following Christ naturally leads us to SERVE.

From Philippians 2:1–11, we see the powerful if…then logic of faith: If we are connected to Jesus, if we are growing and developing in Him, then we live to serve. Not out of obligation, but with joy, humility, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Himself modeled this life—He “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). And now, He calls us to have the same mindset: Not me, but you, because of Jesus.

Spiritual growth doesn’t happen overnight—just like a garden doesn’t flourish without care, attention, and steady effort. In this message from our All In series, we explore what it means to DEVELOP as followers of Jesus.

Drawing from 2 Peter 1, we see that God has already given us everything we need for a godly life. But Peter challenges us to “make every effort” to add to our faith qualities like goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, mutual affection, and love.
