Welcome to the first episode of The Crossroadz Show, featuring Kai @kaivertigoh and Astrophysics Professor/Competitive B-boy/Photographer Jae “Jaestalt” Calanog.
After receiving his PHD in Astrophysics at University of California Irvine, Jae now teaches as the youngest tenured professor at San Diego Miramar College.
In the evenings, he goes from explaining the laws of nature, to trying to defy them while practicing for breaking (commonly known as “breakdance”) competitions under his crew, The Calamities.
On top of all of this, Jae also pursues professional photography. Though pursuing mastery in even one of these fields may seem daunting to some, Jae is dedicated to a journey of lifelong studenthood, while at the same time sharing his knowledge from his peers.
