There have been many times in history of not being able to trust people due to fear, perhaps this being one of the more well-known though. As an adaptation to Arthur Millers' work, we follow the infamous witch trials in Salem from the point of view of Abigail Williams and John Proctor. A classic story that in its own right is very interesting, however, as a film it feels more like a soap opera than anything else. This doesn't stop an incredible performance from Winona Ryder and Daniel Day-Lewis, just be sure not to forget the 10 commandments, or you might be called a witch too.
