On this episode, Captain Mediocrity takes a look at My Brother's Keeper, episode 17 of season 2, based on a super dark story from Shock SuspenStories #17. Then they go off on a long tangent about how comic books are the antidote to the harmful nostalgia of a supposed idyllic past.

On this episode, Ryan and Bruce take a look at an entertaining parody of sleaze talk-shows, "Television Terror", which is headlined by one of the worst people in modern American history. Bruce goes on an extended rant about him, and keeps confusing him with someone else. It is based on a story by the same name from Haunt of Fear #17, but the two stories could not be more tonally different.

Everyone loves a good ghost story! After a period of trials and tribulations, Ryan and Bruce are able to finally sit down to record. This time, they take a look at the origin of EC's horror line as told in Haunt of Fear #17.

On this episode, Ryan and Bruce dive into a Tales from the Crypt origin story, "Lower Berth", based on a story in issue #33 of the comic. Along the way, Bruce tells Ryan about Cranial Facial Duplication and Ryan gives Bruce "the talk."

On this episode, Bruce regales Ryan with stories of long-forgotten syndicated TV shows and recounts the plot of the original Planet of the Apes series. Oh yeah, and they talk a bit about a meta-before-meta-was-a-thing episode of Tales from the Crypt, s2e13's "Korman's Kalamity".

The guys couldn't resist taking a detour between episodes to discuss what may be the biggest horror movie ever based on a comic, Marvel's Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. And somehow, when talking about horror comic movies, they forget to mention Hellboy.

On this episode, Ryan and Bruce trudge through Fitting Punishment, episode 12 of Season 2, based on a story in Vault of Horror #16. Neither of them felt good watching it, but hopefully you'll enjoy listening to them talk about it.
