Mtg news for the week of 10/21/22

mtg news for the week of 10/04/22

We wanted to include our patreon Will Lee in our discussions tonight and there was so much talked about and including a pack opening of Baulders Gate Collectors Ed.   Pauper cards get the hammer and more.

Guest Alper Markov from youtubes Concept and Legends youtube channel joins us this week as we talk about so many things including the meta, and asking him a bit about schtuff, but not limited to.  We had alot of fun in this episode and had to cut quits a bit of it to shorten what we recorded.  As a fan of Alpers content, it was a dream come true for me to have him on.  find Alper here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjAw8xumrSD58HpgrLRm3Dg

https://loscon.org/48/ Special guest Michelle Pincus joins us this week from Loscon.  Join us as we take a trip down memory lane and learn a thing or two.

Prize inside.

I (John Noce) was blessed to have the chance to hang out with Legendary Mtg artist Jeff Labenstein alot over this last past weekend during Strategicon at the Hilton at LAX.  Jeff was signing cards, drawing pics at requests of fans, much more, but above all greeting and meeting all the wonderful people that attended.  I was at a Vendor table next to his table during the whole weekend event.  We were having so much fun he even drew one for me, A beautiful bird token.  Join us this week as a take this week, first half a quick rundown of mtg news, and the second half is all Jeff and I in my hotel Suite where I surprised Jeff with something at the end that was totally a first for him.  Stay tuned to the end where jeff does something insane with me, and I mean top level history being made here.

We are joined this week by non other than J Ro, the Unsummoned Skull https://twitter.com/Coach_J_Ro

We dive into movers and shakers, top decks, a taste of the arsenal mtg format and more.

We gave a special link out in a couple of secret places and allowed the first 3 listeners in for free.  Jd Derring took advantage of the offer and had a blast.  Jd was behind the scenes listening in on a live podcast.  Over on Patreon if you sign up under the 10 dollar a month Tier that allows you to be in on a live podcast even when we have special guests.  You could possibly hear stuff that doesnt make it to the airwaves.

Help support this podcast and get special perks like Jd did.
