The Cryptid Huntress

The Alabama White Thang is a large, hulking Bigfoot-type creature that has been reported throughout Alabama since the early 1900's. Residents described it as being around 7-feet tall, monstrous-looking, and covered in white hair, like an albino Bigfoot. In 1971, numerous reports of the Alabama White Thang were reported around Huntsville, and reports continue to this day. On this episode of "A Glitch in the Matrix," cryptid field researcher Glen Jackson joins Jessica to discuss his encounter with the Alabama White Thang in the deep woods of Alabama. Jessica and Glen are field research teammates who have had some harrowing experiences with cryptids together in the field, and they discuss that here!

Glen Jackson is a paranormal and Bigfoot field researcher based in Georgia. He has done extensive research across the Southeastern U.S. His quest to explore the unknown began as he was growing up in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. He often heard of the Mt. Vernon Monster – a tall, hairy creature that made its appearance in the Northern Virginia suburbs. It occupied an area that was historically protected and a large military base.

Glen and his classmates watched the Patterson Bigfoot film in class as a child and that sparked his interest in cryptids. His most unusual encounter was a “Woman in Black,” and he’s had some exceptionally strange experiences in the field. He had Bigfoot encounters before he knew about Bigfoot. He’s encountered the Alabama White Thing, gotten zapped, and smelled the nastiest smell he’s ever experienced in his entire life.

Throughout his time researching in the field, he’s met some of the most intelligent people in his life. They all share common goals of looking into the unknown, whether it’s digging into the woods or remote viewing. His passion for research has also carried into his professional career.

Glen is a critical care paramedic, certified firefighter and hazardous materials technician. He is also an instructor of emergency medicine. Currently, Glen is finishing his degree and working on a book in an attempt to bring his career and his cryptids research together. On this episode, Jessica goes “On the Hunt” with cryptid field researcher Wayne Totherow of Mannimal Research to explore the dark secrets of the Appalachians, from cryptids and portals to mysterious entities and clusters of missing people.

Wayne is the host of the Paranormal Odyssey Podcast, as well as the Founder and President of Mannimal Research, a small Sasquatch research organization based out of S.E. Tennessee. Mannimal was formed in 2019 after Wayne looked into joining other research organizations. He was discouraged with all the negativity he saw in the other groups out there and vowed that his would be different. Wayne has led many field investigations in the years since starting the group and has uncovered some interesting evidence along the way.

Wayne was approached in 2022 to take over the hosting duties of the Paranormal Odyssey Podcast, after hosting his own YouTube channel on the subject of Bigfoot since 2020. Wayne is well respected in the community, and clearly displays a passion for this subject.

The Billiwhack Monster has been reported around Southern California. It is said it’s result of military experiments. Reports began in the 1930’s. In the 1950’s it was reported that a young boy was attacked by a Goatman-like creature and throughout the next decades, it stalked people and animals and would throw large rocks at cars and chase teenagers and hikers.

In 1922, World War I OSS officer August Ruble moved from Switzerland to the United States. He opened the Billiwhack Dairy in Santa Paula two years after moving to America. He began conducting genetic experiments for the military under the dairy farm in an underground facility to create a super soldier. Eventually, the dairy faced financial trouble and was closed down and sold. Ruble moved back to Switzerland and died under mysterious circumstances. The creature that was created was said to roam the area after he left. This creature was referred to as the Billiwhack Monster.

On this episode of “A Glitch in the Matrix,” Jessica discusses this creature and the super soldier program with Arkheim Ra. Arkheim Ra is a star seed who was targeted for a super soldier espionage mind control program in US Public School's Talented and Gifted (TAG) program. He served at Montauk under Project Phoenix and has several alters which engaged with time travel and alternate reality programs in what he believes may have been a swap alternate reality. Arkheim's alters have also worked with Nacht Waffen, Mars Defense Force, Solar Warden, Lunar Command and more.

On this episode of The Cryptid Huntress Live, Author John Vandeventer joins Jessica to discuss CERN and the large hadron collider, and the implications of what is REALLY going on at CERN. John Vandeventer is originally from Plano Texas. He is a sixteen-year veteran of the United States Air Force. His lifelong love of military aviation history and his interest in UFOs has always made him an avid reader. The author’s first novel RELICS was first published in 2017 after he spent a little over two years writing the novel and researching the topic of Sasquatch as he wrote. In February of 2022, John decided to retire and devote himself to being a fulltime author. He started a Young Adult Series title SHADOW CHASERS, the first offering of this series The Rock Creek Wildman, published in June 2022, to great reviews. RELICS III: Lair of the Ancients, will be John’s second new book of 2022, and the finale of the RELICS series.

John hopes to have the next SHADOW CHASERS book, Haunted Sky released in time for Christmas 2022. John released his third Shadow Chasers book "Curse of the Ishkitini" in June of 2023. In December 2023 John released his seventh book was released in December 2024. It is the flagship for his next trilogy. Peter Stubbe is one of the most notorious convicted werewolves in written history. Executed in Bedburg, Germany, in 1590, it is documented that he made a pact with the devil and was "greatly inclined to evil" from a young age. He made a pact with the devil, requesting that at his pleasure he might “work his malice on men, women, and children, in the shape of some beast.” Satan gave him a girdle which transformed him into a wolf whenever desired.

Stubbe proceeded to go on a ravenous killing spree, attacking men, women, children and livestock. No one was safe from his bloodlust while in the form of a wolf. Stubbe’s werewolf career lasted twenty-five years. He was caught in his wolf form, as hunters unleased their dogs on him. He shapeshifted into a “polite man” they recognized, but he was swiftly tortured and put to death, after he admitted his guilt for the brutal crimes he had committed while in wolf form.

Was Stubbe a true werewolf, a Skinwalker, or simply a serial killer with a craving for blood? Or could he have been wrongly accused of crimes he didn’t do? When European settlers were first making contact in the 1700’s with Native American Cherokee tribes, they noticed an interesting oral tradition that had been passed down for generations. They all spoke of the mysterious moon-eyed people, an interesting “race” of people that dwelled in the southeastern region of America, before the arrival of the Cherokee. Legend says that these people, who were ostensibly white, were unable to see in the daylight, and they warred with the Cherokee. The Cherokee eventually drove the moon-eyed people off of their lands and took over the region, where they remained for generations after.
