The Kappa ("water child") is a creature said to inhabit ponds and rivers in Japan, and appears to be both reptile and humanoid in appearance. According to legend, they are very cunning and like causing mischief and harm towards human. They are generally known as a threat towards humans, kidnapping children, drowning livestock, and assaulting women. Some are less violent, doing practical jokes and being quite friendly, teaching humans bone-setting and how to make medicinal salves. They grow no larger than 5' tall, have blue/green scaly skin, a beak, a tortoise shell on its back, shaggy hair in a bowl cut, and speaks human languages. Kappa have a small bowl-like dent on top of their heads that holds a small pool of water called the ‘sara.’ This water is though to be the source of the Kappa’s magical powers. A Kappa must keep their sara full whenever they venture onto land or forfeit all their strength and magical powers. Without this water, a Kappa could possibly die.

The Nommo are ancestral spirits in Dogon religion and venerated by the Dogon people of Mali. "Nommos" means "to make one drink." Nommos are described as amphibious, hermaphroditic, fish-like creatures. Depictions of Nommos show creatures with humanoid upper torsos, legs/feet, and a fish-like lower torso and tail. Nommos are also referred to as "Masters of the Water", "the Monitors", and "the Teachers."

On this episode of "A Glitch in the Matrix," Michael Bleuler of Red Creek Mafia. Mike had a terrifying Sasquatch encounter while deer hunting on December 16, 2020. He started hunting at a very young age. When he was barely old enough to hold a gun, his father took him out into the woods and started teaching him about how things work out there. Since July 11, 2023, terrified Peruvian villagers have been under attack by what they describe as 7-foot tall, armored aliens that resemble the Green Goblin character from Spider-Man. The Ikitu tribe call these alleged extraterrestrials "los pelacaras, or "face peelers." These creatures reportedly have an appetite for humans and villagers are living in fear after numerous sightings and attacks, including a 15-year-old girl who escaped the grasp of one alien, leaving her in shock with bloody gash wounds on her neck.

Villagers have shot at the creatures, and they reportedly disappear or take off into the jungle with discs on their feet. The villagers demanded that the Peruvian Navy intervene to protect them from these beings. The authorities and media in Peru are taking this matter very seriously.
