Listen in as Luxury Sai shares her thoughts and views on the Jay-Z produced western "The Harder They Fall."
This movie deliberately offers a powerful reminder of the presence and influence of historical Black figures in American History. The opening sequence opens with, “While the events of this story are fictional… These. People. Existed.” And that sets the tone for a two-hour and twenty-minute journey into late 1800's bad-assery of outlaws, bandits, shotguns and saloons; replete with dust-filled bank robberies, camp fires and the pre-dawn planning of the taking of a town. This movie is a must-see!

Sacred spaces can be religious, spiritual or personal; they can be filled with a jumble of doodads and trinkets, or completely empty. What matters is that when you enter the space (or look at it, in the case of a matchbox-sized altar), you are able to connect deeply in some way to what is important to you, whether that is your faith, a memory or an idea. Visiting your sacred space should be enriching, calming and refreshing. It should shelter and restore you, encouraging you to draw strength from it as you realign with your mission.
Your spiritual practice, the steps you take to remain in alignment with your purpose, is one of the most precious gifts you can give yourself. Saideh A. Brown shares tips on creating and manifesting a more purposeful spiritual practice.
