  • S2 Ep. 14 Navigating the Healing Path Through Lifestyle
In this episode, my guest Elizabeth Adams shares her health and healing journey navigating through a series of issues from ulcerative colitis, allergies and asthma as a child, to IBS-C (Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Constipation), Hashimoto's, depression, a heart murmur, and obesity.
Between raising three children and also caring for her grandmother for many years, Elizabeth's health was compromised and she knew something needed to change. We explore how she gradually healed from multiple diagnoses and what flipped the switch to inspire a healthier path. The key was making sustainable lifestyle changes for not just physical shifts, but she also improved her mindset and stress management.
Elizabeth's health issues served as a catalyst to not only lose and maintain a healthy weight, but led to a major shift into a healthier lifestyle. This included crafting her own organic product line and ultimately a career as an Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Health Coach where she guides others towards optimal health using "Lifestyle Medicine". Elizabeth also offers ionic detox food baths and she shares what it is, its benefits, why it's relevant to health and healing, and what to expect before, during, and after a ionic foot bath session.
This episode highlights the importance of an empowered mindset and how starting one's journey to health with small steps can lead to long-lasting results and success. Elizabeth focuses on health and life coaching to develop healthy habits that are sustainable and lead to optimal health and well-being.

  • Ep. 12 From Pain to Peace to Purpose
In this episode, Adele Little joins us to share her breast cancer journey from a holistic and faith-based perspective. She brings us through her timeline from pre-diagnosis, to her process of mindfully navigating through cancer, and researching and educating herself to make the best decisions for her care based on her individual case and an array of available options. She encourages everyone facing major decisions to do their research, become your own advocate and "CEO" of your own health, ask good questions, connect with an informed health team, and weigh all the choices based on what's ideal for your given circumstances.
We discuss how science and the Bible converge from the importance of the vagus nerve, singing, and humming as part of the healing journey with a grateful heart and connection to the Lord. How fasting, prayer, forgiveness, and being intentional with how we speak to ourselves and over our lives is as important to one's healing as the protocols and approaches chosen to support the body.
We explore the holistic mind-body-spirit layers of health and healing and the role of belief systems (both empowering and fear-based), and how that impacts health and healing. Adele expresses how her use of Scripture statements helped ground her throughout her cancer navigation and recovery journey.
Adele also speaks about what lifestyle and diet changes she shifted since healing through cancer and in her recovery and cleaning up your body's terrain. Her personal story, empowering perspective, and message of finding hope and embodying faith are inspiring and uplifting for those experiencing challenging health situations.

  • Ep. 10 Chronic Illness: The Hope is in God
On this episode, my guest, Claire Wilbur, is a follower of Christ, a wife, and mother. Claire shares her journey navigating through the complexities of chronic and invisible illnesses while raising children, medical freedom advocacy, and while doing her best to show up each day. She brings us through her process living with late-stage Lyme Disease, healing from mold toxicity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, nervous system dysregulation, and more.
After spending thousands on a variety of diagnostic tests, modalities, treatments, and therapies, -- burned out, and exhausted, Claire shifted towards the purpose of what her illnesses were showing and unraveled the many layers of healing and health, including mindset, and the daily and full surrender to God in the process.
Claire shares that after countless treatments and approaches had failed, the Bible is her life raft. And how turning more to God is providing hope and is shifting her healing. Illness can be an opportunity to renew the mind, course correct how we speak to ourselves, deepen one's faith, forgive others, and offer yourself grace. Claire offers inspirational proverbs, stories, and quotes to inspire hope for those in the middle of experiencing health crises, who suffer with illnesses they cannot explain, and those living with debilitating diseases.
We explore how fear-based responses and fear itself lowers the immune system, how chronic and invisible illnesses are often misunderstood, and how using our health challenges and trials can grow, transform, heal, and build character from an empowering and Christ-centered perspective.
    Show Notes:
Claire Wilbur - Follower of Christ, wife, mother

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
James 1:2-4 "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds..."

Romans 5:3-5 "We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope."
Claire's friend Sara from church who also suffers says: “Health is a crown that only the sick can see.” (Many don’t see their crown of health because they’ve always had it.)

  • Ep. 9 From Wound to Crown
In this episode, my guest Stefanie Bennett, a Transpersonal Psychologist, shares what drew her to the field of psychology. She highlights her research work with mothers navigating through parental alienation that she completed for her PhD dissertation.
She also walks us through her exploration of the different faces of narcissism, and her passion for educating others on how to identify the various kinds of narcissism and the traits that distinguish each kind between covert, overt, Narcissism Personality Disorder (NPD), the sub-types, the soul-level wounding from narcissists, and ways to heal and recover.
Stefanie elaborates on her concept "From Wound to Crown," and describes the transformation that occurs in the hero's/heroine's journey as a result of initiation points and discovering the gift within the wound. She focuses on the intersection of "soul-level healing and complex trauma recovery — particularly the ways emotional and relational wounding lives in the body and how we can restore wholeness from the inside out." In this episode, we explore the types of soul fragmentation, what contributes, how soul fragmentation connects to health, and the ways to integrate and heal.
Stefanie also discusses Jungian psychology, Anthroposophy, and Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science work. She brings a unique background studying Aramaic and a fascinating perspective on how this holistic language shapes meaning with its spiritual architecture, and how Aramaic's frequency is a form of healing.
