In the same core that they find the metal with traces of gold and concrete, there was also a good deal of wood. Dating it reveals 1488-1650 which is consistent with another borehole they found wood in just a few feet away and at the same depth. It's very possibly the "Chapel Vault" D2 @ 88.5 feet deep
