We have been having a conversation on the MYTH of Christmas where we clearly established that Christmas does not accurately represent the birth of Jesus Today we delve into the significance of the Birth of Christ that is usually blurred by the masquerading both in the church and in society purporting to be the celebration that surround this event that shaped human history…Where do we begin? We will have to go back in time to what the Prophets had said about this significant event and what we should ideally be drawing from and celebrating, WHENEVER we reference the Birth of Christ and NOT necessarily on a particular DATE. To do this let us look at a couple of scriptures: Isaiah 7:14 14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.  Already from the word go the focal point is NOT the DATE but: THE LORD’s SIGN: --THE VIRGIN --WILL CONCIEVE ---GIVE BIRTH TO A SON ---NAMED IMMANUEL -Therefore the DATE is NOT as important as the SIGN Isa. 9:6  6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace This often quoted scriptures during Christmas pageants and services, completely gloss over the HUGE implications of what they represent and are sadly relegated to be read ONLY during these occasions when NO ONE will pay them any further attention until the NEXT CHRISTMAS EVENT! Isaiah 9:6 is probably one of the MOST Power packed scriptures in the ENTIRE Bible that in ONE SENTENCE basically SUMS UP THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION OF WHO CHRIST IS, incorporating both His Divinity and Humanity and gives us insight into WHO HE REALLY IS! This is what the REAL Smokescreen about Christmas is REALLY about, this is what the TARGET really IS! Truth be told, it has been pretty successful up until now when God is granting us discernment so that we can deconstruct it for the sake of future generations. Let us examine the TRUE implications:

--2.In no specific order, the myths, rituals and activities that have overshadowed this reality and how Christmas as currently celebrated actually MASKS & OBSCURES or literally hijacks this powerful Truths and leaves us with a powerless reality where: 

--Every Year Jesus becomes a Baby while the Devil remains a fully grown devil and by easter Jesus is Dead, this is then repeated year on year while the devil grows stronger and stronger as the years go by. 

--At the end of these series our intent is that you will have the ability to extract the power behind the birth of Christ and still be able to enjoy your festivities of any festive season without attaching some sort of “Holy” ritual to them, they are mutually exclusive.

EVERY SINGLE BOOK of the NEW TESTAMENT starts with a reference of the term “Father” in the FIRST chapter and 95 % by verse 3 . That is huge! From ACTS to REVELATION, EVERY single Book opens with reference to the term “Father”! If that does NOT get your attention, then you need help. This tells you that the central understanding of the early believers was that God was our Father. Sadly in spite of this there is an assault on this term which has even influenced bible translations to create more “Gender Sensitive” terms due to the usual poor filtering using “a humanistic designed” concept of God that assumes that the term “Father” is a “Male” dominant position that belittles women and therefore we need to tone down the “Masculinity” and even in some cases create a gender neutral God. This just goes to show how God has been misrepresented when viewed from the filter of fallen earthly fathers. The term “Father” pre-existed Gender! In fact “The Father” created gender! We also saw how the term “Father” incorporates every other “Name” of God from the New testament to date. 

This term was so powerful and well understood that:

Here we see God Himself Introducing the Concept that He is the Father of the Nation of Israel. Other than where God directly uses this term in the Old Testament it is interesting to note that other than Moses who again refers to God as father now directly to the Israelites in the wilderness

6 Do you thus deal with the LORD, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you?

The other references came primarily from Prophets.

Isaiah: 2 times

This concept of the names of God is important because it has had all sorts of implications from the basic, through the powerful to the absurd and can have various levels of impact either empowering or limiting depending on how you were introduced to them.

This “Names” are actually found in the Bible so they are NOT extra biblical, yet what we want to examine if they are REALLY the NAMES of God and does He respond to them.

For many this may be sensitive discussion so we ask that you indulge us and listen through before making a decision.

--Depending on how you have been taught, the names could vary from 7 to a total of 16. Here they are quickly:

1.     El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty)

2.    El Elyon (The Most High God)

3.    Adonai (Lord, Master)

4.    Yahweh (Lord, Jehovah)

5.    Jehovah Nissi (The Lord My Banner)

6.    Jehovah Raah (The Lord My Shepherd)
