What do Lindsay Clancy, Constance Fisher, Susan Smith, James Holmes, 9/11, and the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk have in common?

Evil is evil.

In Episode 119 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we take a hard look at the darkness behind some of the most disturbing acts of violence, loss, and destruction, and ask whether we’re willing to confront the deeper spiritual reality underneath them.

Jesus said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Different circumstances. Different people. Different tragedies. But the same enemy of human life.

At the heart of the conversation is a fundamental question: Is human life inherently valuable?

That should be a premise upon which we can all agree. Yet when the lie takes root that some human lives are disposable, conditional, or less valuable than others, the foundation beneath everything else begins to crumble. If life has no inherent value, then where do we draw the line? Who gets to decide? And what ultimately gives human life its worth?

We talk about abortion, violence, morality, the dignity of human life, and the consequences of removing God from the equation.

With God, everything matters. Without Him, nothing matters.

This is not an episode about pretending every tragedy is identical. It is an invitation to look deeper, to recognize evil for what it is, to defend the value of human life, and to return to the truth that every person bears the image of God.
